Owned for 7 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So I purchased this soundbar with my 65" back at the end of Oct of 2018 and was entirely excited to have it all set up. About three weeks into ownership my wife noticed no sound coming from Hulu. Thought maybe it was the firestick because I thought the sound was working when I switched to the Hulu app built internally with the TV. I noticed the display dim out on me and start switching between the built in presets. Then I realized the sound I was hearing was from the TV's internal speakers. I switched HDMI cables twice. Bought a third specific ARC cable, went to optical and tried bluetooth but still same problem with sound dying out or no sound or even heavy static. Shipped it to LG for service. Two months later and the bar is shipped back with a note stating the main board was replaced. Plugged it back up and same thing. Examined the sound bar, it didnt look like it had been serviced because the small piece is break away tape I placed on the seam was still intact. Shipped to LG a second time, again two months later i get an email asking for proof of purchase receipt. A week later the soundbar is on my doorstep with a note stating that LG has been trying to reach me for the receipt. I called LG and was told the part to fix the bar is no longer available. The soundbar spent more time at LG for service than connected to my TV. I will say this about LG, they bought the soundbar back and offered a full refund. At least my OLED TV is untouchable.

There is a function that you can use to adjust the time alignment but I still can't get it right. I will be returning it this week.

Lg soundbar Sucks
