The upward firing speakers for Atmos are nice, I chose this over the SK8 because the clearness of the sound was much better. I have also matched the with the rear speaker set for full surround. I’m only giving 4 stars because the subwoofer is weak in comparison to the less expensive Samsung unit I replaced that cost much less, and this is on any sound setting.

Great sound is what you get. Make sure you get the rear speakers for it, though. The sound is just OK without them, and I was quite surprised when I learned that they didn’t come with the system. I used it for about a week before I added the rears and while I wasn’t totally disappointed, I can’t say I was happy, either. When the rear speakers were set up, I went from OK to thrilled with it. It becomes a true Home Theater.

This is one of the best sound bars I have purchased. I’ve gone through 4 different sound bar brands (Visio.Sony,Samsung,Sonos) paying up to 499 for them and not being happy with the sound. The LG is just amazing. It does a great gob replicating the Dolby Atmos effect. I really like this sound bar.

Was very simple to set up, works great with my LG TV. Expensive but worth it.

Easy set up, wireless sub is a plus. Bluetooth connectivity to tv is helpful.

Solid sound just a little short of great. If this system is on sale it’s a great price and I would do it. If your looking for that room filling Bose bass then it will come up short in your expectations. But still really good sound.

I bought an open box version of this set at a massive discount (it was missing the remote). But my TVs remote, also an LG, easily identified with this unit to sync up and take control. Besides that, the sound is amazing. I purchased this for my bedroom to get a little extra oomph while watching movies and I'm not disappointed. I marked off one star because if you sync this to your tv using Bluetooth rather than using a hard cable, there seems to be a delay in the audio. At first, it's not very bothersome, but the longer you watch (say, if you binge watch) the delay seems to increase and become noticeably annoying. Using an HDMI or optical out cable from the TV to the unit eliminates this however.

I purchased this soundbar to replace my souroundsound receiver. It’s has a great sound that’s comparable and quick hook up without lots of wires. I nice replacement but not as good as my former receiver.

Great clear sound what a huge difference! But it's difficult for a woman to mount this.. had to hire the TV repair guy to do so Worth every penny great deals during the holiday $499.00 free s/h

the first one i had to return only one side was working. this one replaced a lg sound bar sj8 from last year that is a good sound bar but this sounds better and much louder then my last sound bar. i got this for $450 for black friday half of the price!

Open box deal & turns out it’s a great Sound Bar, easy to set up, and works amazingly with lg oled tv! Only missing the remote but the LG app fixes that problem!

I loved this system with the wireless sub-woofer I noticed I don't turn it up past like 10 or 11 in movie mode due to it being too loud I think but it does get the job done in spades plus for the price I paid it is 5.1.2 ch.

I did get mine at a discount, but think it’s worth the higher price. Make sure you have the right environment at your house and you’ll be very satisfied. Deep bass.. has all the necessary sound adjustments to dial it in.

This soundbar sounds great, especially when it has a Dolby Atmos signal. Unfortunately it cannot do Dolby Vision at the same time. In the description it says: "input and output the 4K signal, with no loss of image quality." Which is technically correct in a misleading way. Yes, the "4K" pass through is perfect, BUT, It does NOT do Dolby Vision HDR. I argue this is a loss of quality. I specifically bought this soundbar for the HDR Pass through feature but was misled, as it only supports the inferior HDR10 standard. Again, it sounds great, but for the price I'd look elsewhere. I prefer Dolby Vision over Atmos so it's currently getting a 5.1 surround over optical instead of Atmos it advertises. P.S. Used with a Vizio E70-F3 and Xbox One S, both of which support Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision.

LG speaker bar sounds amazing! When Dolby Atmos is played, fills my living room with rich surround sound. The sounds seriously surrounds you.

Purchased this at local best-buy and was eager to install. After installing I immediately noticed the sub-woofer kept dropping out and losing sound. Although the sound was good for this price this shouldn't be an issue. I returned the system and purchased something else.

There are better, more expensive speakers, but the ease of this sound bar hooked to our 75" LG UK6570PUB is outstanding. It seamlessly works with the TV to provide stunning, room filiing sound!

Fantastic soundbar with great quality. Two years later and it still sounds high quality. Some occasional cut out to the subwoofer, but nothing to bad.

The LG - 5.1.2-Channel Hi-Res Audio Sound Bar has clear voice, provides excellent audio for highs and bass through wireless sub-woofer. It is new, so I have not explored its full potential, but I am pleased so far with the performance. The hook-up was pretty simple using the ARC HDMI connection. The only issue I have is not being able to get the Dolby Atmos working with my PS4 Pro.
