Great sound for a good price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a night and day upgrade from my previous soundbar. The sound is crisp and clear. Took me a little while to calibrate since my TV is a Samsung. Great value for the price. Just in time for the Holiday movie season. A double thumbs up.

Perfect, ease of use
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was not sure for the price (on sale, too) if this would compare to my wired system. It's everything and more. Easy set up, 10 min out of box, enjoying quality sound, needs little adjustments if ever.

Decent surround that includes height audio
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This system fills my medium sized open living space with satisfying sound. I had a 5.2.2 system powered by a surround reciever before I bought this LG system. The footprint is obviously much smaller and I'm not missing the extra power and audio precision. I have an angled ceiling that is higher above the speaker and lower where I sit. The upfiring speakers present the space with fairly accurate height channel audio. I can say with certainty that height channel speakers placed at location will provide better object placement. But I don't miss that extra precision too much. My primary complaint with this LG system is that they cut corners with hardware peripherals. Most notably, the satellite speakers have cheap wire inputs for connectivity. At this price point I expect better. My 2nd room has a $250 Vizio sound system and the satellite speakers have proper plugs.

Good
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love it when it was working. Started getting pretty bad static out of the rear speakers after about 6 months. Geek squad has had it in “service” for over a month and they have no clue what’s going on. If you get GS protection be warned they will quote you 2 weeks and take over a month

Solid surround sound, not truly wireless
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound is great, rear speaker aren’t truly wireless, they’re connected to a hub which isn’t listed or highlighted anywhere. It threw off my plan for set up I had in mind, but the sound is good. Would recommend.

Inexpensive and easy to setup, loud.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay, so you've got that incredible LG G4 TV (or something equally awesome), and now you're thinking about elevating the audio game. Let me tell you, this LG 5.1.2 Channel Soundbar with its wireless subwoofer, Dolby Atmos, and DTS:X support is exactly what you need to complete your home theater experience. It's not just a soundbar; it's an audio transformation! No audio lag with wireless speakers and subwoofer. Real easy to use download app on phone. Issues Voice dialog in movies seems to low, heavily bass boosted you will need to adjust this in phone app settings.

Perfect addtion to the LG collection
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound system was perfect for our living room. Along with our LG TV, you can hook up via S Cable and it will adjust volume the same as your TV, just be sure to turn on that feature in the audio settings of the TV. The sub is nice and gives a good amount bass. The 2 additional speakers make it perfect for surround sound.

Decent system
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Clear sound, very little bass though. Overall, a pretty good system. Easy to set up, surround sound speakers are small enough to place anywhere & come with plenty of wire.

Open box reasonable deal, reasonable performance
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this model after reading its spec that stated it supports worldwide voltage (110V/220V). It turns out that only the main soundbar power supply is 110V/220V. The subwoofer and the satellite unit support only 110V/60Hz. Holding back 1 star for this misinformation on part of LG. I bought the unit open box (Excellent Condition) but the quick setup guide and the warranty card were missing. I was able to find a user guide on LG's support portal. It was relatively easy to set it up. I powered it up and got sound out of the main bar but *no* sound from the surround speakers. And no bass from the subwoofer even though the LED at the back of the subwoofer was steady green, indicating it was paired with the main soundbar. I am not new to audio/video equipment setups. I had made sure that wires for both speakers were well anchored in their respective connectors, at the speakers as well as in the satellite unit. After some fiddling, I was finally able to get sound from both satellite speakers. IMO, the speaker wires for the surround unit are too thin. Holding back a start for this. On the subwoofer -- Initially, I had placed it under my worktable and verified that it paired with the main soundbar (the subwoofer LED was steady green). But I was not getting any sound out of it. Eventually, I had to place it very close to the main bar to get sound. Even then the bass does not have much punch. The remote is minimalist and not very intuitive (IMO). Without an accompanying user guide you may end up fiddling with the buttons to get the desired settings. After I got everything working, the overall sound quality is good. I may keep this because I got a reasonable price break, as an open box item. To take it overseas, I will have to invest in a voltage 220V/110V converter (around $75). Therefore, I would look for something else, if I were to buy the same, at its full/sale price.

Easy install, excellent sound
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this setup. The install was quick and painless, the speakers synced automatically. The preset EQ’s are incredible, I bought this for a “cinema” sound system, but it works just as good for music as well! I was able to get this on deal of the day and man am I happy I caught it!

||Posted . Sounds Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking to upgrade my 7.1 speakers to something more compact and found this at Best Buy. All I can say is WOW, the sound quality delivered is fantastic. The sub booms and the soundbar and rear speakers really fill up the room like the real thing. If your looking, can't go wrong with this. Dean B.
