This was a replacement for an aging Panasonic all-in-one CD/DVR player, AM/FM system with wireless rear speakers. This is a nice plug-n-play unit that required very little configuration. I initially had the rear speakers sitting on the floor and couldn't tell if they were working at all. I raised them off the floor (head height when seated) on the pedestals from the old system and it made a world of difference. As a side note, I paired this soundbar with a new LG television (optical link) and have been disappointed that the audio is not synchronized between the two units. I haven't been able to silence the TV speaker and control the soundbar using the TV remote. I also had a tough time getting my Verizon universal remote to control the cable box, TV and soundbar.

When I first got everything set up, I was disappointed with the sound quality albeit only 349.00. I have a Samsung 800.00 soundbar in the front of the house so maybe it’s an unfair comparison. Anyway, the general consensus is that this unit lacks bass and is very blah with no wow factor. It’s kind of just a basic surround system even though it supports Dolby atoms and EARC. However, I downloaded the app on my iPhone and started messing with the settings. I basically turned up everything, the bass, treble, and subwoofer bass to close to max. I set it to cinema and turned on surround in the app. I believe it’s improved the system tremendously. It takes a little tweaking and is horrible out of the box. But with a little time spent on the app, I think this is a steal for the price point.

Good sound system. I don't hesitate buying preowned items. I saved 50 bucks compared to the sales price at the time. The condition was not as good as described. More scuffs than i like but nothing too serious. Bass is not as bad as the BB reviews say. I had to pick the right movie to hear the big bass. Good scene was kong's heartbeat in the godzilla v kong film. Easy setup. Its paired with my LG A2 tv. Sound is better then the solo tv speakers. I can hear the atmos sound in any of my movies. Overall great sound. 5.1 is good when available.

I’ve never owned a soundbar system before this one, did a ton of research and got this on a Black Friday sale. I’m very impressed with it, it had mixed reviews but most of them just compared it to Sonos. I have it in my bedroom, soundbar mounted below tv, and both surround speakers at head height. It works seamlessly with my TCL tv, auto Dolby atmos, DTS, E-arc, etc…. The best and most surprising thing to me has been the up-firing speakers on the soundbar. They preform very well with the 2 height speakers to make you feel like you are in the center of whatever you watch. For the price, the sound quality is impressive! Haven’t noticed any lag while gaming either, but haven’t really stressed it to see because I use headphones.

Was easy to connect. Display on the soundbar is easy to read. It was well worth $400 if you got it on sale. Rear speakers are actually pretty good and makes it feel like a theater in a way with the additional bass. Talking about bass the boom box isnt the best but at the same time 400 for all of this youd be amazed on how good it actually is. Id suggest this to anybody also i have a Sony tv so even tho its not the same brand it was easy to connect it all using just the HDMI port

I was amazed how it sounded with my 77 inch LGOLED. It really put the system together, to make it sound great! I have pieced systems together before, its alot of work and expensive. I’ve always had a bad attitude about box systems. But after hearing the Atmos and as simple as this is to put together for $350. It’s really a no-brainer! Is there better?? Absolutely!! But for $350 it’s an amazing price with an amazing product that sounds amazing! Does its job when it’s supposed to and it’s quiet when it’s supposed to be! best of all it’s Bluetooth so you can link it to your phone or your kids phones and they can listen to music in the living room! It’s a great all in one system! I would give it an 8.5 to a 9.0 for the money that was spent!

Its a great 5.1.2 channel speaker and i can hear the surround sound all around my room! This thing is definetly Quality Built! Built in Buttons/Sensors to turn on the soundbar, volume, instead of sticking out on the top! The Remote Is a little Light but with batteries it feels a lot heavier! Love this soundbar for the price, and it looks absolutely amazing. Good for the price!

This really does sound good. I am a bit of a snob about sound and this genuinely is great for both home theater and music. I was honestly surprised with the quality. With that being said, this review is about a “budget” soundbar. But this did meet and exceed my expectations. Low end is there, tight, and surprisingly deep. Moreover, it performs incredibly well in the mid and high range. I would absolutely recommend this for those that want a full soundscape with shockingly good performance. The up-firing speakers are noticeable, but may be underwhelming for those looking for a true Dolby experience. However, again, for the cost, it is truly remarkable.

This thing sounds awesome and is now a neccessary component to my gaming or music listening. Bluetoothing to it sounds the best, in my opinion. Connecting TV audio to it sounds subpar. Maybe TV audio is just low quality in comparison to other audio formats. The quality of the bass of the sub woofer and treble from the individual speakers is amazing. This is my first sound bar and surround sound system but it has helped me see what I was missing out on! I won't be going back to naked TV speakers ever again.

Outstanding sound and very clear. Surprised of how versatile 2 small speakers make the room surround sound. The only gripe I have is that it’s not as loud as I thought it would be. That’s the only thing preventing it from being a perfect 5. Subwoofer is very solid and projects perfectly.

The soundbar and sub added a dimensions to my new movie theater. I am very happy i made this purchased. Easy to setup and use. The fact that i can connect it to my projector via Bluetooth makes my life easy. Everything wireless and i haven't experienced any issue since i bought it. I can connect my phone to listen to music with a press of a button if i dont want to use my projector. My target was to buy sonos system but due to budget constraints, i decided to try this but am happy i did. I will definitely buy it again and recommend it to friends and family

While I am not an audiophile, this soundbar has amazing sound quality. Not only was it a breeze to set it up. It pretty much pairs the soundbar with the sub-woofer itself when you plug in the devices and turn them on. I was worried that the sound may get lost and not be good in a large open area with 20-foot ceilings, but it does the job - and does it really well.

Really great sound quality for a good price. I feel you'd ve hard-pressed to get much better dolby atmos quality at this price point. Easy setup. Full room sound. Adjustable speaker levels. Simple but useful remote. The LG Soundbar App fir your phone is a nice plus. Great surround-sound quality and clear dialog from the front channel. If you're looking for a decent dolby atmos setup for less than $500 I don't think you can do much better. If i had to critique I would say the bass maybe could have a bit more power in the lowest frequencies but felt it had plenty of oomph in my setup (12x10 garage).

One of the best sound systems I’ve used and seen in the market. It is good enough for a big living space. I have it in my loft and boy it shakes the walls! The bass is amazing and it perfectly syncs with LG and non LG TVs via Bluetooth or via hdmi. I have it hooked up with my Sony OLED via Bluetooth and it works like a charm. The clarity and the surround sound effect with AI enhancement is just too good. I highly recommend this product

First, I want to thank the Best Buy associate who helped me in finding the system that was right for me. He took the time to check out the systems I had an interest in and after all the comparisons, the LG S75QR stood out from all the others. Real Atmos is important to me vs the 'Virtual' that some units had, and with the added discount, made my decision pretty easy. I initially used a 5.1.2 (Atmos) sound test video on YouTube just to be sure that all the speakers were firing and were in their correct positions. No problems. I have been watching movies with Dolby Atmos and other sound enhancements and I have not been disappointed - talk about total sound immersion - good thing I'm in a single family home.... With the Best Buy discount, purchasing this unit was a no-brainer.

Excellent sound, especially in cinema mode. The only hitch is dependent on the music station that's streaming. Sometimes there may be a bit of distortion as far as surround sound. Meaning if the station is airing music in mono, you will most likely receive in mono, without the full surround sound. However, LG surround 5.1.2 has incredible abilities to make any airing sound great. I live in a large condo over 1k feet, and I usually don't go above sound level 10 for music, and sound level 15 for the tv, otherwise the bass is super booming, and whatever I'm listening to can be heard in my courtyard.

I got this as a floor model and it did not have the two rear speakers. Manager said they would look for them but I can't seem to find him at the store anymore. I have a Bose Acoustimass 10 surround speaker system from 25 years ago that I've not been using. I used a couple of the double cubes for the rears and those work just fine. I have no idea the rear speaker receiver/amp's wattage or impedance, but so far, so good. The bar has forward and upward pointing speakers but the upward don't seem to do much unless they are only for directional sounds only (like rear speakers). Overall, they are clear but seem to be midrange biased. The high's don't come out as clear as I'd like. If I had an equalizer on board I'd push the highs all the way up and cut the mids down 2/3 along with the Bass. The Bass module provides deep booming bass but just doesn't seem to be as clean as my Bose system ever was. It's more powerful but at some point power just never sounds as good as clarity, which I prefer. But - I'm being very critical. Low to medium volumes are just fine for the average user. I basically just use this system to provide more room filling depth and volume than the TV speakers can muster. I'm not into spending $$'s on tons of equipment like my younger days any more.
