Prior to this stove, we only had a stove with no electronics. This stove is awesome, we program the temperature and it displays the temperature as it warms up, then it beeps to let us know it is warm enough. The convection is taking a little getting used to, it cooks faster than what we had previously. The burners are great, the superboil burner will boil water as if we were on top of Mount Everest, but with the higher temperature.

This range replaced a gas range that was over 20 years old. So, this LG is a very welcome addition to our kitchen. We have only had the range for just over two months, but we've been very happy with it's performance. After having such an old range with no features, we have been going through a learning experience with the features of this range. We keep the users manual close by. We've been happy with the functionality of the burners and haven't had any issues with simmering. We've only used the middle burner with our griddle once. It did a great job on pancakes, but it did take a little while longer to heat up than one would expect. We've used the regular and convection features of the oven with success. We've also used the regularly timed self cleaning feature for the oven, and it did a great job. I absolutely love the touch pad for the oven and timers. It only takes a very light touch to use, so I don't feel like I will wear it out anytime soon. The grates for the cooktop, and the oven door and its handle all feel very solid and sturdy. We don't have any issues with this range so far.

We bought this unit to go along with the LG 24.9 French Door Fridge (Model: LFX25978ST) for a house we bought back in September 2012. This model appealed to us for many reasons. First, we liked the layout of the burners (plus the included griddle for the middle burner though we have yet to use it). Second, we liked the mostly flat surface around the burners - this makes for very easy cleaning. Third, we liked the intuitive electronic controls for the oven. Fourth, the design caught our eye - specifically the knobs "look" like commercial range knobs (I used to work at a Hilton hotel as a cook) and we also liked the cool blue interior paint used in the oven. In addition we chose the LG units over Samsung due to the design of the handles). As for performance - well we are very happy with the performance of both the stove and the oven. We love the convection oven - it's our first. Also, we like cooking with a real flame. We have our unit hooked up to propane and so far we are unable to discern any performance differences (compared to natural gas).

We have used this stove for almost a month now. It is impressive looking and the family loves it. The oversized burners comes in handy when using a WOK. I have used the convection oven to bake biscuits and they came out golden brown all over. My mother-in-law has asked me to purchase one for her. I guess that says it all.

This LG stainless steel natural gas range is an INCREDIBLE VALUE! I was surprised at just how heavy it was! With the burner controls (which are stainless, not plastic) on the front of the oven, it has the look of a professional series range. The oven cooks perfectly even and the convection feature saves time, energy and money. The center "griddle burner" is such a delight to have and the burner grates being dish washer safe is an added bonus! We LOVE our new LG Range!

Love the range, easy to use, easy to clean. I read a review that it took very long to heat the oven. I have found that if you use the convection bake it heats up very fast. I'm not sure if its the fan circulating the air that helps or what but in no time my oven was ready to use! The only thing I would improve right now is the chimes could be a little louder.

So far we love our new stove! I've cooked professionally for years and this stove is close to commercial stove quality. Love that my larger pots fit easily on the cooktop. You definately need good quality stainless cookwear for best results. I love that I have the option of covection bake. Kids say I have to mention how we love the blue oven interior...it is nice! We also like the singing timer and alerts. You could easily lose the middle burner. We tried pancakes on the griddle last weekend...didn't work! It works for bacon and other things that are okay cooking slowly. I don't know if I would have been so happy if I had paid full price but for $950 it was well worth the $$,

Found range a bit too plastic like (eventhough) it's suppose to be stainless steel. You have to be carefull not to scratch the finish. However having said this, everything functions as advertized. Center grill is a bit weak but th rest of the burners are great. Convection oven is really, really good.

I just love the convection bake! I made cupcakes and they came out perfect! Very even baking! My old range was an electric smooth top-no convection oven-and it took forever to boil water and for the oven to preheat. This is soo much faster. The convection fan is very quiet and runs intermittently. We used the griddle and made french toast. It takes a while to heat the griddle, but once it is ready, it works very nicely. I also like the timer alarm. It is very pleasing to the ear, rather than an anoying beep, beep, beep. I like the black stove top. Sure you can see splatters, but it is very easy to clean. It requires no more work to keep clean than my old smooth top did! Overall a great purchase!

I purchased this item nearly 4 months ago and have been extremely pleased with it. My wife and I cook on it nearly every night and there has only been one instance where we came away disappointed. We tried to use the included griddle to make pancakes on the center burner - however it almost didn't even get warm enough to melt the butter when we put it on there. Everything else has been perfect. We purchased it on pre-black friday sales, so it has been an exceptional value. This is our first foray into convection ovens, so it has taken a little bit to get used to that, but I am very happy with this purchase. Installed it myself and would say that it was a fairly simple install if you are handy. However, as it is a gas range - unless you're 100% confident that you can do it correctly, pay someone to install it. Not worth blowing up a house to save $100.

I purchased this range when my old one died. I did not choose it because of the griddle but have loved having the option of using a built in griddle. I did not realize how much I would use it. The oven cooks evenly and the timer helps me to not make a mistake with cookies and cakes. The oven is large enough for me. I also like the high power burner, I can heat water to boiling in very little time and I especially like the simmer burner. I could never get the old range down to a true simmer, I can now.

The convection option saves time and requires less energy. The large front burner boils water very fast. A great appliance.

This range is a big step up for us in features, appearance, and construction. Open the oven door and compare the hinges to others in the price range. It's better built than most. The blue interior porcelain (eye candy as far as I know) is lovely. We love the smooth movements in the burner controls. The stovetop lights instantly. The burner grates are the kind we wanted: dark, "unfinished" metal. I appreciate the prompts that appear on the touch screen that guide you through the "programming." The timer-done sound is not a traditional beep, but a goofy little song. No harm done, but there's nothing wrong with a normal beep either. We've done some traditional and some convection cooking and have been very pleased by the performance of both modes. All said, a great upgrade for us.

Great value . Everything works as described. Easy clean oven

After lots of research we decided on this LG gas range. I have been cooking with electric for years and am adjusting to gas cooking once again. So far, so good. The stove is very well built and has a professional look. I have not had any problems with the simmer burner as other reviews have mentioned. The chime tone is very quiet, so I just set another timer if I am going to be out of the room. I love the center griddle! The interior of the oven is large and bright, and the blue color makes it easier to see what's cookin'! The oven light flashes when the oven has preheated which I think is a very neat feature! It definitely gets your attention if you are busy doing other things! Convection baking is a dream! The black cooktop does show dust, but I do not let that detract from the other awesome features. Highly recommend this range.

Have only had this stove for about 3 months....but it is working great. It may take you a little getting use to cooking using the convection oven option, but once you do the convection cooking works great.

This range is worth every penny!!! I canned pickles yesterday and with the power burner everything went so much quicker than our other range we had. Very easy to clean (after such a mess), Love the look and ease of use. I would recommend buying this gas range to everyone.

I've had this range for a few months now and overall I am quite satisfied with its cooking ability. The cooktop works great- excellent range of BTU, so you get a quick boil at the high end and a really slow simmer on the low end. My biggest complaints are 1. The oven takes up to 30 minutes to reach the designated temperature and 2. The alarms are annoying. Instead of a simple buzz or ding to tell you that the time is up, it plays a repeated melody. The same applies when the oven reaches temperature, and when you open the oven door while it is broiling, and so on. One other issue is the black surface shows a lot of dirt.

We were really looking forward to getting this oven...and couldn't wait to get it installed...Overall it is a good investment. I would change a few things, most of which is how difficult it is to keep the black range top clean. No matter what I clean it with after there are smudges and smears...Rather disappointing because it always looks dirty. Aside from that, it is a nice. Suggest if you are trying to cook a meal for dinner, you plan ahead, because the burners in the back are not as big as the ones in the front...Makes for some interesting cooking in a pinch.

Love the stove and the burners are really great...heats up fast!! Looks good, look forward to trying the grill.
