Got this as an upgrade for my parents TV, and the value for size is amazing. It is a lower end LG unit, but we love LG's commitment as a brand, and the quality is outstanding. You could definitely spend more, but witrh 4K capacity and vivid colors/contrast, I'm not sure why you would.

the tv was very easy to set up. the instruction were very clear and simple to follow..the picture is very clear the contrast and the color on the tv are great compared to the old tv that i had. the sound that you get with speakers on the tv are enough that you don't have to add any other speakers to the set.

The size is just what I wanted. The picture quality is amazing. The sound quality blows me away. The setup was easy and simple. The price was the best part of purchasing the TV. The smart features are easy to navigate, and I can find what I want to watch fast. I really love the LG UHD TV.

Great price for a 50 inch 4k TV

We have always had LG TVs and really liked them. We had an LG 43 inch 1080 TV in the living room and it started to have bright spots on it so we decided to upgrade to a 50 in 4K TV. I did a lot of research and decided to buy this model. It has a great picture and the sound is good. The power cord comes out of the TV way too easy. We have it plugged into a power strip and if it gets moved a tiny bit it pulls it out from the back of the TV. Which can be a pain to plug back in.
With our old TV we could see the picture good from the side of the screen but this screen is very bright so it's hard to see what's on the screen if you are towards the side of the TV. We mostly view it from the center so it's not an issue but it can be an issue when I want to see the TV when I am in the kitchen. I did everything online and I should have gone into the store to look at the TVs - I may have decided to spend the extra $100 to get the 55 inch TV.

This LG TV is excellent for its price range: I was surprised by how well it's design had been prepared for streaming services, and additional devices.
The Remote Control is somewhat small for all of the features and settings it has access to. Mobile device's App Stores have additional remote controls that assist with functions of casting: saved or other content, and accessing the signals from a list available inputs.
The picture is clear and bright, customizable: throughout a variety of preset picture choices, an on-screen display lists it's instructions well and it's setup isn't difficult. Settings are displayed with detailed on-screen menus for the selection of inputs or customization of the picture and sound.
LG has included its streaming channels with brief advertising; its menus have a detailed selection of subscription Content Providers too.

This tv has vibrant colors and great HD picture. It has a loud speaker so no additional speaker is necessary. It was really good for the price. I used to have a Toku so I was afraid this wouldn’t be as easy to use, but it really is easy.

We were looking for a tv that wasn’t too small nor too big for our camper. Space is essential and we needed a tv that had a little bit of everything. We were pleasantly surprised that this tv had it all for us: the quality, easy to use apps & the price. Can’t beat it.

I was weary because the TV was inexpensive, but this television is fantastic! Smart tv, clear picture, great sound and easy to navigate. Legs are not that great but you can always mount it or buy universal swivel stand.

I've had this TV for less than a month, and LOVE the crisp picture (Miracle On 34th Street looked like a fresh, new movie - with background details I've never seen before...same with "Serendipity"...it was like Kate Beckinsale was in my living room!). My only complaint thus far are the plastic leg base (snap-in legs on either side) keep the TV upright, but with not much stability. LOVE watching YouTube on a 50-inch screen!!!

Replaced old Insignia

I had to replace an old 43" Insignia TV that would randomly reboot. Since this was on sale (and I had a gift card), I made the purchase. I figured out, after searching the internet, how to rename the inputs so they made sense. Netflix works quite a bit faster than my old Roku stick, plus I don't have an extra gadget hanging off the back. The picture quality is much better than the old TV, which was to be expected. The next step is to have my satellite equipment upgraded. I have a sound bar, so I can't comment on the built in speakers.
The downside is that there is no mini headphone jack, so I can't connect my wireless Sony headphones. The other bigger deal is that the tiny feet provided do not support the TV all that well. Even peeling off the protective plastic around the edges made it wobble, so I had to steady it. I went ahead and ordered a tabletop TV stand, so we'll see how that goes.

This television has a nice picture. It is user-friendly. The TV guide is a nice feature, especially since we don’t have cable. Only drawback is that I would like the remote to light up in the dark. Overall, good size and affordable.

Excellent Entry to 4K

This TV is an excellent buy for the money.
I wasn't sure what to expect for a 4k TV that was $327 on sale, but I was not disappointed. The picture quality is amazing on this LG set. It even comes with pre-calibrated settings for a natural picture, which of course can be changed by going thru the different picture modes.
Navigating thru the various menus can be a bit clunky, but once you go thru the options at least once it is easy to navigate.
This is definitely an excellent buy for someone looking to upgrade from a regular HDTV to a 4k UHD set.

The picture is amazing. I went there to buy a new HD TV and would have been satisfied with that and this knowledgeable young man introduced me to a 4k TV and I fell in love immediately. I would have paid more but when I saw the price, was floored, blown away and stunned(pleasantly). If you've never seen a 4k screen... it's like the difference between analog and HD. I got a 50 inch 4k TV for a ridiculous price. I ran outta the store because I thought they made a mistake (lol). But seriously folks, I got a great deal. Then it includes subscriptions to Netflix, hulu, sling and other viewing services. It's a smart TV and I have it connected(wirelessly) to the phone and Alexa and cable is not necessary. What else can I say. See it.... Buy it. Best Buy.... thank you

First off...our old tv was 15 years old. Pretty much anything we bought would be amazing compared to what we had. We walked around comparing everything and talking to an employee who gave us a run down and life story of each tv. He was so helpful. Normally employees kinda seem to know what they are talking about. This kid falls asleep thinking about TVs. Very impressed. Anyway...we didn’t want to make a house payment on a tv, so we picked this one. The color is amazing the smart tv is...smart ! :) very light. If you don’t want to break the bank but want a 4K tv...this one is amazing!!!

LG Delivers

I have always been a Samsung guy until about a year ago. My son owns a sports bar and he has 20 LG’s among the 40 or so screens in the bar. I thought the LG’s were just as good or better so a year ago when I was looking for a larger screen for our bedroom I bought the 55” version of the 4K base model prior to this one. Loved it. Was ready to upgrade the TV on my patio so this LG 50” took the place of a 40” Samsung I moved from the bedroom. Virtually no difference except size between this and the other LG. They might have fine tuned set up a bit. It’s easy. Picture, sound and operation with Xfinity X1 Voice Remote could not be better. Price points are significantly better than comparable Samsung’s.

If you’re like me and sit in the back room with black-out curtains and minimal light then this is the tv for you. Soon as you turn it on you can clearly see the sharpness of the picture. The detail that you wouldn’t normally see. Automatically turns on HDR which I already thought was running on when you play a game ex.BF5. Has excellent tv speaker. Sounds like it’s on 30 but in actuality it’s on 10. Definitely a pick up if you want a bedroom/living room tv. Biggest con is the annoying helpful voice assistant. If you get bugged out by it then definitely turn it off ASAP no rocky. But either than that great Tv for low price and great picture quality.

Very surprised and very impressed with all the features this tv comes with. The picture is excellent. The sound is superb. I don't know how they do that with such built in speakers. I imagine they are very small as I can't see them, but the sound is bright and the bass is so good it sounds like it has a built in subwoofer. Also, there is live tv channels included, only 2 or so I really can watch. But the apps and the remote and the system overall are easy to navigate and the tv is full of good useful assistance.
