First of all I went in looking for a 50-60 inch TV that offered 4K. I went home with a 60 inch Samsung that I thought offered a nice range of options as well as a good picture quality. I originally passed on the LG due to the fact that there was a $1000 difference in price... I did not love the quality of the picture of the Samsung so I went in and purchased the LG and did a side by side comparison at my house with my imputs.. There was no comparison the LG was light years ahead of the Samsung in terms of picture quality. The dark colors are rich and the picture quality is AMAZING! Guys will understand the next comment. My wife even noticed the difference.. When we purchased the LG it came with another 42'' TV and a wall mount which helped ease the pain of the additional cost.

We bought a high-end Samsung television that only lasted six months. After doing a ton of research, we decided on this LG OLED tv to replace it. It was definitely the right decision. It was easy to set up; the remote is great; and the picture is just as amazing as advertised. We just love it!

While there is little to no 4K programming this tv will prep for the advent. The true black is amazing. I love it as a flat screen instead of the curve. My kids love the 3D but I still cannot get over the wearing of glasses. No downside to this tv yet. The price will come down overtime but it is not horribly priced right now.

This is hands down the most exceptional TV made since the beginning of the digital age. Colors are spectacular, sharpness is unbelievable and contrast is simply fantastic - right out of the box. Yes, it's pricey but you most certainly get what you pay for.

The color and clarity of the picture is unbelievable. Smart TV apps are incredibly easy to use and fast. Sound is phenomenal. Obviously I am thrilled with the purchase. I waited until it was more affordable and highly recommend the product.

Easy to setup. Vivid colors. Rural customers might not have the internet download speed required to utilize the apps. 4K requires 25mbps download. I discovered this after I purchased this television. I am happy with my purchase.

the LG OLED UHD 4K display is the best tv you can buy. infinite black, colors are so rich. 4K streaming is so detailed its like looking through a window it is pricey, but worth every penny. 3D performance is also excellent.

OLED technology is better than LED. The blacks in this tv are literally the darkest thing in the room! This gives the best contrast, and color available. I have it in the same room with a professional OLED video monitor and the colors are almost identical right out of the box.

Great TV beautiful picture better than my Panasonic plasma. Had to work with the advanced setting in great detail in order to reduce judder. The other disadvantage to this TV is the screen is a bright reddish purple when the set is off and my windows are not blacked out.

Love this TV.Color and contrast of blu-ray videos is stunning. .I haven't watched any content encoded HDR.I will be receiving the ultra 4K blu-ray player in early March.I will then be able to appreciate all that this TV has to offer.

Pro: Excellent picture quality. Impressively wide color range. Loaded with features. Cons: Expensive. Only three HDMI ports. Bottom Line This TV provides the best picture quality you can buy, at a still-very-high price.

I own the Sony X950B as well as this TV. I love this TV. The blacks are true black and the whites do not bleed into the black. Clarity is phenomenal & 3D is amazing.

All the reviews rated this OLED televison as having the best picture and I totally agree. The details are there and the blacks in the picture are totally black.

When my 3 year old Samsung 51" plasma TV died (second one in 5 years - what's up with that Samsung?) I vowed never to buy another Samsung TV. I read the reviews on the 55" LG OLED TV and decided to buy it. I am more than pleased. The color is extraordinary and much better than the plasma TVs I've owned. Even the upscaling of my Direct TV HD programming is better. The OLED TVs are more expensive than the regular LED sets right now, but worth the extra IMO. Especially since I had to buy a replacement TV now. This LG OLED is a gem. 5-star gem!

There is some minor vignetting but not noticeable watching content unless there is a completely white background. Otherwise a great picture

The picture quality is amazing and it fits perfectly above my fireplace. We love it! It is super easy to use with the Apps like Netflix or connects to my Xbox One and Sonos system.

The picture is great and has little to no motion blur while watching sports. I have Xfinity and they don't have a remote control codes for this tv yet.

This was my Christmas present to myself. I wanted the new OLED screen in 4K and LG is the only one on the market. I had a SUHD TV and the picture was pretty incredible but the new OLED screens are the future. The clarity of the picture is incredible and 4K, as limited as it may be, is pretty amazing. The 3D feature is fine. I had 3D and rarely used it, but who knows that may be a great feature for kids. Best Buy has an incredible price on LG OLED and they included delivery.

Our old TV failed and we were thrust into looking for a new set. We did some research before getting to the store but the research didn't tell the whole story. We were focused on a different set until we spoke with the Best Buy sales associate. He asked us many questions about what we watched, where the set would be physically, etc. The answers led us to 2 completely different products. When we visually compared the 2 sets we decided on the OLED, even though it was more than we intended to spend. We haven't been disappointed at all! What a great picture!

I ended up purchasing this OLED TV after seeing a side-by-side comparison between this model and the other top brands. There was simply no comparison with the picture quality. The remote is a little strange at first but is pretty easy to get used to. I also picked up a soundbar, and am really happy about the purchases.
