The contrast on this TV is better than anything I’ve ever seen. The colors are vibrant.

Great budget option for an OLED. LG has done really well with the B series. Crisp picture, accurate color, only drawback is that it doesn't do amazing in bright environments but still does good enough. Amazing at night.

Television is very good, oddball remote not so much. Remote locks up at times when heavily used and difficult to use with magic point engaged and there should be a setting to disable it. In addition the same remote affects a Vizio television nearby. Had to tape over Vizio ir sensor which is used for a security system monitor. Had to disable Vizio network

Pretty solid! I got an open box tv, and it was in good condition. Some smudges and such on the screen, but after a good clean it looks good!

TV is just what I wanted. Great picture. The OLED is great for seeing the TV from all angles in our large room. Highly recommended. The good reviews were right on target.

Great picture and with small kids who love to touch things, I'm less worried about them damaging the screen if they touch it. It's also super easy to cleanntheir fingerprints off if they touch something. A great replacement for an older LED TV I had.

This is my first new TV in 10 years. This OLED TV is a technological leap forward compared to my previous TV. One pleasant surprise is that the "Magic Remote" can also control my Verizon FIOS remote and my 4K Blu-Ray player remote, AND the built-in apps fully replace my ROKU device. For the GEN Z readers, it's BRAT / GAS / LIT.

We are please with our purchase. The clarity and crispness of the picture is 2nd to none. We had an Vizio that was about 4 years old and this TV outshines that TV. We would recommend this TV for anyone looking and getting it for $799 was a steal. We do have a sound bar so I can't review built in sound on the TV

I bought this LG OLED TV in July of 2025. It worked very well until January of this year when it would not turn on. I followed all the recommended fixes and could not get it to turn on. There was a flashing light that blinked four times, possibly a main board issue. I called LG on January 28. A technician came on February 6. I didn't try to turn on the TV in the meantime. When the technician arrived he picked up the remote, pressed power and the TV came on. He took it apart anyway and told me it needed a new main board which wasn't immediately available. He said he would order one when they became available. I didn't mind since the TV seemed to be working. About 3 weeks later the TV died again and wouldn't restart. Another technician came, this time with a new board. Again, it worked when he arrived. He checked the error codes and said that it didn't have a main board issue but he replaced it anyway. When he tried to turn it on, it didn't work. He unplugged it and plugged it back in several times. Then he got an extension cord and plugged it into a different outlet and it worked. He blamed the malfunction on the outlet. So I kept it on the extension cord and watched TV that evening. The next day it didn't start. I played around with the different outlets, With and without the extension cord. I got it to turn on but it came on with sound but no picture. I called LG and got a new work order. In the meantime, I checked the outlets' voltage, both were steady at 116 volts. I let the TV sit unplugged for several hours. when I plugged it back in, it worked. LG sent the new work order to the same technician. He called me and said that there was no point in coming, there was nothing he could do since it needed a new screen which was unavailable. He also thinks my house wiring may be at fault but if that's the case, why did it work fine for six months. I seem to be able to make it work by plugging and unplugging it a few times. It is now Friday, March 13 and I don't seem any closer to a solution. I had requested an exchange but their policy requires 3 service calls. I am on my third service call but it hasn't taken place yet. Now I just want my money back so I can buy a less advanced but more reliable TV.

Hi, there. Thank you for reaching out about your LG TV (OLED55B4PUA) model. We understand how important it is for a premium OLED TV to be reliable. Since the TV has shown symptoms like power cycling, no picture with sound, and temporary recovery after unplugging, one helpful step you can try—when the TV is completely unresponsive—is leaving it unplugged for at least 10 minutes before reconnecting it directly to a wall outlet. This allows the internal power modules to fully discharge and can help stabilize the TV long enough for a technician to capture accurate diagnostics. For more guidance, visit https://www.lg.com/us/support/product/lg-OLED55B4PUA.AUS. We’d be glad to take a closer look at your case. Please feel free to send us an email at [email protected] so we can continue supporting you and work toward a resolution. ^Juvy LG

So far very happy with this TV. I had heard good things about the LG brand and not disappointed. The picture is very clear and beautiful. I like the mechanics of how it works, very user friendly. Using it with a JBL Soundbar, but not certain it would be required for good sound.

Beautiful TV especially for the price when on sale. Replaced an older Vizio OLED and there is no comparison in picture quality, speediness and overall performance. We have a larger C4 in our theatre room and I can't tell the difference between the two. Also gaming at 4k 120hz. B4 is the best value!
