My husband and I bought this oven five weeks ago to replace our old one that went out. It looked great, we loved the double oven feature and we were surprised by all the little features that came with it. Obviously after having our old oven go out, we were very disappointed to realize two days ago that our upper oven will not pre-heat. I feel like I have to add that we have really only used it twice since we bought it! I even called the gas company first because I didnt believe that the oven wasnt working already after just five weeks. But nope, no problem there. So the next call was to Best Buy who quickly dispatched a technician. The gentleman was very nice and after working on it for 90 minutes told me that one of the two circuit boards in the back of the oven must have gone out and he ordered them (apparantly he wasnt sure which one it was). Obviously this did not seem like a good omen to me and I pointed out that if the circuit boards had already gone bad that maybe I got a lemon and asked if they could just replace it for the same oven. He told me that Best Buy wouldnt do that and that I could try calling LG. So I guess that is my next stop - I cant tell you how disheartening it is! All the other positive reviews make it seem like it was a one off situation, but I thought I would post this in case someone else has the same problem.

Love the double ovens. One small, one big with convection cooking option. Love the proofing setting (use it for rising dough). Love the blue interior. Love the five burners on top in sizes from simmer to powerboil. Powerboil burner is awesome! We've taken note of the warnings from some reviewers that it is so powerful that it melted nearby surfaces; we've been watchful, and have not had that experience so far. The oval central burner is a little under-powered in comparison. It is unnecessary, but we've enjoyed the included griddle that fits over the central burner. Love that the grills over the burners form a continuous level, making it easy to drag a pot off a burner and move it aside. All in all, very pleased with this range-oven.

I really like the double ovens and the design of the range but I am completely dissatisfied with how the stove top burners work. The size of the flames around the burners vary considerably so food will burn in one part of the pan and be barely simmering in another part making it very, very difficult to cook food evenly! All 5 burners have the same problem. An LG technician came to fix it twice with no improvement. I just got off the phone with customer service's "Executive Services" and was told there was nothing more they could do, that the stove was functioning according to the manufacturer's standards and they will not replace or let me return it. So I paid $1300+ for a stove that doesn't cook any better than a primitive campfire. I have cooked on gas stoves for more than 30 years and have never had this problem. Cooks buy gas stoves so they have more heat control, not less. I'd suggest LG needs to reconsider their manufacturing standards as their current one is unacceptable.

I really love this range and I don't regret choosing it. My only complaint is the shiny black top. Every speck of every little thing that touches it or lands on it shows up. The ovens are great. I especially like having the smaller oven and use it all the time in place of my toaster oven. It cooks so evenly. I love the timers and other options on the oven. I had read some complaints about the center griddle not being hot enough but I just let it pre-heat and have not had a problem. Have even cooked bugers on it. I have been using the range for 6 months! You won't be sorry.

Have had a chance to use this for several things. So far everything has been good but I expected this model to have convection in top AND bottom ovens because of specs. This is not the case. Convection is only available in bottom oven.

I did a lot of research on this oven before purchasing and most have given it a decent review. I have been using it now for a few weeks and here are the positives: 1) The power burner on the front right is very strong. Heats water up with the 17k btu's very quickly. 2) Although the knobs are plastic, they arent too bad and are reasonably responsive when adjusting. There is a little play with the gas here and there but nothing too bad. 3) The dual oven works well. The top oven worked well and the bottom convection feature had consistent heating with the few casseroles my wife made. Negative: 1) The center burner at 8k BTU's is just not strong enough. I read this from others going in but since many of the other brands put out roughly the same volume, I didnt think it would be an issue. Unfortunately, after cooking 3 breakfasts and 2 dinner items on here, there just isnt enough flame to adequately cook what you need. I would have thought the griddle would get hot enough to cook an egg or bacon sufficiently but after waiting 5+ minutes for an egg to cook, I still had a very difficult time flipping it over without the yolk breaking. Bacon took roughly 10 min to get to a respectable level but even at that, it wasn't "crisp" to what I think it should be. Maybe I just got a bad unit but the lack of flame and thin center griddle is very disappointing. Overall it is aesthetically a great stove/oven and the performance outside of the center burner is quite good.

I've been using this range for almost three months and haven't found anything about it I don't like. We use the double ovens often and I love the simmer burner which is great for making cream based sauces. Also, love the 5th burner in the middle which is great for making pancakes, burgers and using large oval pots.

I absolutely love this range. The double ovens with individual temperature controls is what sold me. I've put it to great use so far and it's a pleasure to have an appliance I can fully rely on. * I also have to applaud Best Buy for their excellent service from the time of my purchase to the two fabulous young men who delivered and installed my new range. Great service all around.

Bought this oven two years ago. You can only broil in the top oven and the food cooks unevenly. I have to open the oven every few minutes and turn whatever I am broiling in order to get an even temperature. Over the last few months I have noticed that the top oven has been cooking hotter than it used to, resulting in some burnt meals. I now only use the bottom oven unless I absolutely have to have both ovens going at once. An oven that is only two years old should not have issues like this.

I hate this stove. It was very expensive for the terrible level of quality. It arrived with the lower oven not working, out of the box. It was repaired by LG but then stopped working again a few years later. We barely use it so its not like its worn out. The knobs are terrible too, they are just stickers over plastic, i didn't even realize it until some cleaning products made them bubble up.

We bought this range for the 5 burner top (which is great) and the dual ovens (which now won't work properly). The ovens quit holding the set temperature. LG had the controller board and temperature sensors replaced and the problem continued. LG told us that we should replace the controller and sensors again but at our expense. This should be a first class range for it's price. We can't trust it to provide the temperature we want in either oven.

I like the double oven it just takes some getting use to using.

We had an electric range before this one. My wife really wanted a gas range and we have not been disappointed with this model. We love the two double range. Most of the time we just use the smaller oven compartment. It is very easy to keep clean as well.

This is a high quality stove. Being able to cooktwo items at once is a great convienience. Have gotten many compliments on stove.

Great addition to my kitchen looks great up against my white cabinets. Couldn't ask for anything better.

I asked Best Buy salesperson for a dual fuel gas range. My fault for failing to read my receipt that he had sold me a complete gas range. When this oven is on, my kitchen quickly heats up. The oven releases a stream of heat from the top of the stove. I cook a lot and I prefer electric ovens. Forget properly roasting veggies or potatoes in a gas oven. Stovetop is fine - it is the oven i hate. I would never recommend this range to anyone. So disappointed.

both ovens have trouble coming to temperature. Proof feature overheats constantly. I thought for the price it should be a great oven, WRONG. I will never buy any LG products again.

While it is nice to have 2 ovens, neither of them is accurate and I've had the sensor replaced. The convection oven doesn't bake much faster than the regular oven. Recipes I've been making for 30 years are not coming out right, overdone or underdone. Cookies aren't browning. Things take so much longer to bake in this gas oven compared to my old electric. The self clean cycle doesn't work as well either, and it gets crazy hot during the cleaning. I looked at lots of reviews and not sure how this one always had great reviews. Wish I could give this back and get the electric.
