Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the convection oven, ease of use, and fast heating speed of this 6.3 Cu. Ft. Self-Cleaning Freestanding Electric Convection Range. Many also find the range aesthetically pleasing. However, some users have noted that the controls take time to get used to, and the timer could be louder. A few customers also mentioned concerns about the storage drawer and the glass top requiring careful handling and cleaning.

It is great the only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it is loud.

    Very Nice Range, Annoying Music

I really wanted to give this range 5 stars, because it's actually a very nice range -- it's super quiet, cooks food as you would expect it to, and looks great. And the purple ceramic coating on the inside not only looks nice, but it's very easy to wipe off any spills. So why didn't I give it 5 stars? First, the annoying music chimes. When the oven heats up to the predetermined temperature, the oven starts playing a 10 or 15 second long song that reminds me of the ice cream truck driving around the neighborhood when I was a kid. Its fine once or twice, but I got tired of hearing that music pretty quick, so I looked in the manual for a way to turn it off. Well, the folks at LG, in their infinite wisdom, decided that it was either all sounds or no sounds. You can't turn off the music without muting the entire stove. And the second reason I gave it 4 stars was the buttons to turn on the burners. They are all digital buttons, not traditional knobs. So when you want to turn one of the burners on, you press and hold the "on" button, then toggle up or down to get to the desired temperature (which is NOT low, simmer, medium, medium-high, high..........its 1,1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, etc.) It would be a much better design to have traditional knobs that you can turn to the correct temperature. My previous Samsung range had knobs, and it worked better.

The worst stove ever purchased! Me and my wife have been trying to get in contact with LG, Best Buy about the stove turning on by it self. “Dangerous” Should sum it up. Is the consumer liable for a stove that ignited on its own?

The first range we got had a bent storage drawer so ordered another one. When we turned it on none of the burners would work. Decided to buy a Whirlpool instead.

Stove went out. Always appreciate Greenfield, WI Best Buy's Salesman Tom's expertise in choosing a new necessary household appliance; especially when it must be accomplished quickly. Did my homework online. Tom answered all questions competently; brought us to quick decision--an LG stove with bake and convection options. Top electric burners took some getting used to. But this was a good purchase $wise too.

I like the stove so far but lets start with the stuff I hate. The Huge control panel is very kool BUT its plastic and not glass. It takes 19 min for the convection bake to reach 400 degrees. The regular bake was 10 minutes to 400. I called LG 3 times and all I got was between 10-20 min is normal. I was going to return the stove until I found out all the new stoves are the same. I called Whirlpool to ask them and they explained that the energy conservation people recommended to save energy that the broiler element NOT be used during preheating . Dont make since to me . The ready alarm is kinda on the low side. The storage drawer needs more structure, it feels very flimsy. I did read some really bad reviews for LG stoves that scared me into purchasing a 219.99 5 year warranty for my 749.99 stove. The cost to me was a LOT . Broiler pans and the cord DO NOT come with the stove and are an extra cost. Cord was $23.00 I just kept my old pans so they were FREE :) The likes : This was the best designed control panel I seen on any brand with the HUGE digital control panel even though I wish it had glass touch tech. The oven size is HUGE. I like the blue oven coating. It came with 3 wire racks. The burners are powerful and heat very fast. The oven cooked great. I'm still testing the convection setting . Wish list : I wanted 2 6/9 inch dual burners. You have to go to $1200 to get that. Full Glass touchscreen on control panel would be AWESOME. I called LG and they say glass is only on the GAS stoves. So far I like it and with the SUPER expensive best-buy 219.99 5 year warranty I feel a little better if it explodes i will get a new one. PS ----- Best Buy says in their specifications that the stove has a 5 years limited: cook-top and radiant service units and according to LG that's not true. Warranty is only 1 year on both parts and labor .

Simple to use, a lot of options. It's sturdy, easy to clean and the design looks amazing. The oven and range both heat up quickly. Food comes out of the oven evenly cooked, no more guessing if the bottom is going to get burnt before the top of whatever you are cooking gets done. I'm really happy with this purchase.

My new stove is wonderful, but the delivery and treatment was THE WORST EXPERIENCE I have EVER had, and will NEVER EVER EVER buy any appliance at Best Buy EVER again. My stove waa delivered abd installed HORRIBLY, and I had to hire anot electrician to fix it. Restitution was made; however, it was not close to the out of pocket expects I had to pay for the food I had to buy for my family.
