Great picture for watching sports. Color is vibrant. East to install, mount, and great user interface.

The QNED80 offers good color reproduction thanks to its nanoparticle panel. It displays a wider range of colors than most similarly-priced TVs. However, it lacks contrast due to the absence of mini LED backlighting. So, it’s best suited for well-lit rooms where it can truly shine. One standout feature is its wide viewing angle. You can move around the room without sacrificing image quality. Great for gatherings or family movie nights! Gamers will appreciate the 120Hz panel, HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, and variable refresh rate (VRR) support. It’s a decent choice for console gaming. The built-in webOS smart interface is a winner. Now, here’s the catch: It’s not ideal for dark rooms. The contrast ratio is quite low, and the local dimming feature isn’t impressive. But fear not! In a bright room during the day, it handles glare well and provides a consistent image. The sound quality is, well, average. If you’re an audiophile, consider pairing it with external speakers or a soundbar. Verdict: The LG QNED80 is like that friendly neighbor who throws great daytime parties but isn’t the best host for movie nights in the dark. If you’re all about streaming shows during the day and want a TV that won’t mind a little sunshine, this one’s got your back! Remember, though, every TV has its quirks. I replaced an older TV that lacked some smart features with this one. The picture is great and it is simple to use. The ease of the smart remote is one of my favorite points about this TV.

Decided to risk the open box item in excellent condition, glad i did! Everything looks brand new, wrapped in a good amount of bubble tape for protection. The tv itself is great for rolms that get a lot of light, QNED is very bright so it overcomes any glare. Thats not to say the blacks dont perform well though because they are definitely deep. 4k 120hz is a huge bonus as well! I would say if you want close to OLED performance for half the price, go for the LG QNED.

The rating was challenging because overall picture phenomenal; bright, sharp, and full of deep color. The menu system is fluid and easy, remote is light and easy to use too. The speakers are able to get loud without getting tinty or distorted, and have a good range. Nothing that would replace a full range speaker set, but we are able to comfortably watch shows with a range of audio. The TV itself feels strong, and actually a bit heavy. What took away two stars was the strong the light leaks. I read the reviews on here, and a few people mentioned, while most did not. I thought, okay so there were a few lemons, chances are mine won't have it. I'm convinced that likely all these TVs have the issue because of the nature of the light leaks. The leaks are not always visible - when content fills the screen, a trained eye looking for them would be able to find them. When the screen is all dark, they're not visible because of the dynamic dimming. When they are visible, and strongest is when watching letterboxed content - most movies or dramatic TV shows. The TV needs to drive the backlight LEDs at full power to light the scenes within the letterbox, and with the backlights at full power, the light leaks show up VERY bright within the black letterbox. Watched shows over a couple nights, and my eye kept being pulled to the bright leaks. I've been a long time LG fan, I love the simple elegance of the webos menu system that doesn't try to outsmart me, great advanced controls, and typically great build quality. Unfortunately, while we love everything else about the TV, I'm going to have to return and try another brand - the light leaks are just too strong to ignore. I looked at several other sets with the same/similar display technology, and I see lots of similar complaints. I hope LG gets this figured out, but likely they're leaning in to future technologies and LCD technology is getting the cold shoulder. I will try to upload some objective pictures when I have an opportunity later.

Great tv still in 2024 . My Lg has never given me any issues . Runs my ps5 just great . Picture is excellent . Great bang for your buck . And I love the magic remote ! And the app is wonderful too when you can’t find that remote

I kept going back and forth between this and a similar samsung but after seeing the tvs in person I loved this one. I’ve had nothing but a great experience with it. This is a great mid end tv as it provides a lot of what I was looking for but at a much more manageable cost. Picture quality is great and it’s instantly noticeable. The lg interface is easy to use and the remote control is unique and cool to use. I would highly recommend this tv for anyone looking for high quality and a decent price

This TV is the perfect fit for our space & the picture is impressive. The TV automatically goes to screensaver mode if not in use, saving the image from being damaged. It came with all the apps already downloaded for viewing, time-saving is a top priority. The remote has a pointer for easy selecting what you want anywhere on the screen. The sound is perfect, picture is clear and vibrant & the size is perfect.

One of the best tv’s i have ever owned. Beautiful picture. It’s very clear and easy to use. We purchased an LG soundbar with this as well and it’s all perfect. Thank you to John for helping us make a decision on this tv. He didn’t bs us into buying something we wouldn’t like or wanted to spend a lot of money on. Samsung better watch out, LG is pushing them out of the game.

It is crystal clear with stunning audio at an affordable price. I have a 65” LG I paid almost double for and it’s no better than this TV other than size. I also bought a Samsung of the size of this device at the same price point. The LG looks and sounds like a more expensive TV and is better looking even though I also like the Samsung very much.

Picture is just amazing, loaded with features and very user friendly. All my guest love my tv when they are here watching sports.

Nice tv with a lot of cool perks. Regular tv is super bright and clear. Love the he but when it comes to gaming it’s a little different. Besides the awesome 120 fps / game optimizer, the game is a bit dark. Smooth play though so I can’t complain too much. The apple air tv thingy is sweet too. I’d give this tv a 10/10 but the whole dark picture with 120 fps drops it to like an 8.5 / 10

I was specifically looking for a 65" 4K smart TV with a 120hz refresh rate. When I saw the picture on the Best Buy display and the Black Friday price it seemed like a no brainer. It's been a few weeks of using this tv every day. It does not disappoint!

Love this TV! Great quality, picture and sound! I love the remote as well! Took a little while to get used to using this smart remote but I love it now, easy to navigate though settings and apps!

Works for what i need it to do. Bought quite a few of these to create a tv wall. They are very vibrant without having to be cranked up in brightness. I can definitely see this tv getting some good use for everyday use around the house.

Love it. Great PS5 game play. The 120hz is great. The sound with a LG sound bar and woofer and surround sound speakers makes it even better. The remote volume is hard to find in the dark. Thats my only complaint.
