I wasn’t expecting this TV to impress me as much as it did, but the LG 82A Series genuinely feels like a huge step up from anything I’ve owned before. The QNED panel is bright, colorful, and incredibly sharp — even in a room with a lot of daylight. HDR movies pop without feeling overblown, and the contrast is way better than I expected for something in this price range. Dark scenes actually stay detailed instead of turning into a grey blob.
The AI picture processing is what surprised me most. It automatically adjusts brightness and sharpness depending on what I’m watching, and it actually works — especially with sports and fast‑moving scenes. Motion looks clean and smooth without that weird soap‑opera effect.
webOS is super fast on this model. Everything loads almost instantly, switching between apps is smooth, and the Magic Remote is still one of my favorite TV remotes ever. Point‑and‑click navigation feels natural, and voice control works reliably without having to repeat myself.
Gaming on this TV is fantastic too. Low input lag, HDMI 2.1 support, and the picture stays crisp even in fast shooters. My Xbox and PC both recognized the TV’s features right away.
The sound is solid for built‑in speakers, but pairing it with a soundbar really takes it to the next level. Still, for casual watching, it’s perfectly fine as is.

Overall great product, with great picture quality. The remote doesn't have a dedicated mute button, which I don't like. You have to hold down the "down volume" button and after going down about 10 it mutes. Kind of inconvenient, but so far is my only qualm. The remote has a point feature like a Wii remote which is nice.

Like the TV. Intensely dislike the remote. There are no instructions to assist me, as the user, in getting around the challenges. This remote disappointed me and has definitely taken the pleasure out of this experience. Not user friendly remote. Would not recommend because of the remote.

Easy to unpack and install. It is a little heavy so takes 2 people to install and a sturdy wall rack. Love the LG smart menu. Connecting to WiFi and adding our subscriptions was very easy. Works great in our bright room.

I quickly decided this wasn't the right TV for me and returned it the day of delivery. The smart TV platform felt sluggish, and the picture seemed washed out compared to others in this class. My replacement TV (from a different maker) proved to be a far superior value it's faster has better blacks and the built in operating system is much more user friendly.

I really like this LG TV. It has good functions and the color combination is also good.

TV has a beautiful picture. Set up was super easy. I just wish that there was a mute button (you just have to volume down)

The setup was different from Sony which is typically the brand I buy but the picture quality and cost of this Lg was the reason for the purchase.
Once the setup was complete it was easy to use and the app isn't bad either.

We picked up our tv from the Lake Geneva Best Buy. We wanted another LG and David helped us with our purchase and answered all our questions. It has a brilliant picture and was so easy to set up.

I purchased this TV to replace a several year old, entry level 55" Vizio TV. The difference between the two is night and day. The brightness and color vibrancy of this TV look great in my brightly lit living room, even with a large window directly across from it.
The LG interface has taken some time to adjust to, but I use an Apple TV 4K for most streaming services. I use it with a sound bar and surround speakers, but I did try the built-in speakers at first. They are a nice-to-have, but don't really compare to a 5.1 speaker set up.
The TV itself is thin and suitability weighty for its size - it is lightweight, but doesn't feel like it's going to fall over with a small bump. The legs provide ample support.
Overall, it is a great TV at it's price point. It might not compete with high end OLED's but it is well under half the price.

I recently upgraded my living room setup with the LG 65" Class 82A Series QNED AI 4K UHD Smart TV, and overall, I’m quite pleased. The size is perfect for immersive viewing, and the picture quality is vibrant and sharp—especially impressive for streaming and sports. The WebOS interface is fast and responsive, making navigation smooth and enjoyable.
However, the embedded AI features occasionally fail to respond, which can be frustrating when trying to use voice commands. Compared to my LG G1, the remote control on this model feels less intuitive and takes some getting used to. It’s not a dealbreaker, but definitely a step down in user-friendliness.
Despite these minor issues, the TV delivers excellent value with its performance and display quality. If LG improves the AI reliability and remote design, this would be a near-perfect smart TV for any living room.

Love this television. The picture quality is great, light reflection is minimal, and it's very easy to use. I would definitely recommend it if you want to get your money's worth.
