This TV includes all the features I was looking for (OLED, 4k, Dolby Vision support, 120Hz and low latency modes for gaming, stunning colors and an extremely crisp picture), and at a price that's a little bit easier to stomach than other comparable panels. The sound isn't amazing, but if you're spending OLED money and don't have at least a soundbar or some other kind of sound system, what are you doing?

This is my fourth LG oled, it repalced a C9 thst died I currently have a CX and a A2. The picture in this is equal or better to any other oled, the probelm seems to be with the processor, its slow amd laggy. Menus take tine to load and the new software is slow and decidely meh. Not sure if its worth the upgrade to a C3 but this is the least favorite of my oleds. $1300 is a fair price but idk if im truly happy with it.

This TV replaced a similarly sized LG 4K LCD model, and the difference is night and day. The colors and contrast was significantly better, and blacks are perfectly represented due to the OLED panel.
The built-in speakers are average. However, if you’re going to invest in a high-quality panel like this, you should really get a quality audio solution to go with it. Even a mid-range soundbar would offer a significant improvement over any TV’s built-in speakers.

It's a fantastic TV with a great selection of extra features and incredible picture quality. It looks outstanding in a dark room thanks to its nearly infinite contrast ratio and perfect black uniformity, with no distracting blooming around bright areas of the screen. HDR content looks fantastic thanks to its high peak brightness, wide color gamut, and incredibly vibrant and realistic colors. Unlike some other TVs, the Samsung model doesn't support Dolby Vision HDR, nor does it support advanced DTS audio formats. However, it does support Samsung's less widely used HDR10+ format.

Great TV, horrible OS. LG - Just Why??

To start off, the picture quality is absolutely phenomenal, I even have the TV mounted relatively close to a window, and during sunsets the sun will create a little glare, but the TV is still
more than bright enough to view. I have zero complaints about the picture quality and the colors.
Now the bad. The LG webOS is actual garbage. I don’t know why TV manufacturers try to over-engineer the software for a freaking TV. I want to turn my TV on, watch it, very simple; not scroll around for 35 seconds, figuring out where I need to go. The “home-screen” is insanely cluttered with an extremely un-intuitive UI. Not to mention, automatic software updates for a TV (lol…), and it will take ~3 minutes for it install, after you turn your TV on. So yes, you will randomly just have to wait a few minutes for your TV to do its thing before you’re allowed to watch it.
I’m a software engineer by trade and it even took me over 4 minute to figure out where everything is, that’s just not acceptable for a TV, for crying out loud…..Just KISS (keep it simple stupid)

It really is just hard to beat OLED for the TV enthusiasts/cinephiles out there.
This TV is way more than I ever needed for a bedroom but am I glad to have it! Colors pop and (good) HDR content practically sings wavelengths of light at you. I don't feel like I personally would have gained much from the higher C3 or G3 LG TVs. If you're on the fence and don't already know that you want to use a specific feature of either, I'd say save a bit and go with the A-series or B-series from LG.
This is my fourth LG TV and I personally haven't had an issue with any of them. 2 of them are still operating, the oldest being from 2011, moved to the garage. 1 was unfortunately physically damaged but that is not at all reflective of the device's quality or LG's fault at all.
I will say a family member has a Sony OLED and I do think it's ever so slightly better but we are talking an infinitesimal amount.
Built in speakers are passable but don't kid yourself, add in a decent set of speakers + AVR or a soundbar in your budget. Personally, partially because of limited space and partially because I already owned a pair of HomePods, I used an Apple TV + HomePods set up in stereo. It has treated me very well.

This TV is remarkable. The image quality is pristine, movies look fantastic in crispy 4k with vibrant Dolby Vision HDR. Gaming is also great, no perceptible input delay and high fps support make for an excellent experience.
A quick sidenote: I can not speak for the TV's built in speakers becuase I use a soundbar.

I could not image how much better watching a movie, a sports game or a television series could be but with the LG OLED it is amazing. The clarity and color are beautiful. The ease of programing for each type of show is just wonderful. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Huge upgrade from the Sharp LCD that we used to have, but that was no surprise. I didn't realize just how thin the panel is before unboxing, which made me nervous, but all the directions are clear and we had no issues setting up. Very happy with picture and sound, the only thing preventing five stars is the annoying magic remote.
