Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the exceptional picture quality, with vibrant colors and crisp images, as a major selling point of the 65" Class GX Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. The sleek design and the inclusion of a flush wall mount also receive positive feedback. While some customers express concerns about the price, many believe it is justified by the overall quality of the TV.

The LG -65" Class GX is an amazing TV. I replaced a 10 year old 55" Panasonic plasma. Wow what a difference. I did have to return the first one, it had a weird horizontal bend in the surface about 9" from the right side of the panel. It didn't affect the image quality but, given the price paid, it needed to be perfect. Best Buy didn't hesitate to replace it. I am keeping the rating at 5 stars because its how a company handles issues that defines the product experience. After getting it mounted, the set up and config was easy. There's lots of advice and tips online for tweaking the settings. Love the thin profile and flush mount to the wall. Looks great in our living room. I purchased with the Klipsch 5.1 WISA speaker system. No more speaker wires or receiver. Took 2-3 mins to set up on the LG GX. Sounds incredible.

This is the best television I have ever purchased. The color levels are great, I see colors I am not used to seeing. The way this tv sits perfectly flush against the wall and comes with its own mount is great. The OS is easy to use as is the remote, voice control is great.

Everything you'd expect in an OLED at this price point. Excellent picture with saturated blacks and colors that make movie viewing and gaming an experience. The interface and remote control are well-conceived and very practical.

    Incredible LG OLED TV

Incredible TV and extremely impressive reviews online including Consumer Reports! This TV is very similar to the LG OLED 65CXPUA except that this LG OLED 65GXPUA is the "Gallery" version so it is super thin (0.8") and specifically made to be flush wall mounted. The GX also has better sound (six speakers instead of the CX's four), Next Gen (ATSC 3.0) tuner for the future over the air broadcast mode (very beneficial if you're not on cable or streaming) and includes a flush wall mount instead of legs/table stand. I'm the type of person that spends weeks doing research and if you're looking for an incredible OLED TV, this is the one. I'm not a gamer but the LG CX and GX models are also highly rated for gaming due to their excellent specifications for low latency and refresh rates. Ciao!

The Devil is in the Details

The quality of this TV is exceptional. The only reason I give it 4 vs. 5 stars is because the detail that a.stand is an extra $100 is in the fine print & very easy to miss. I understand this is designed to be mounted on a wall but we needed a screen that fit into a built-in, so the width dimensions were critical. And, we did not want it mounted on the wall as our built-in is recessed with electrical wiring that needs space & air. It would have helped to know the stand was extra when we purchased it, as I clearly explained how we needed to use this. So the lack of the extra star is due to the fact I had to order a stand from a third party and wait several days before getting this completely set-up. The similar model that came with a stand (not sold at BB) was a fraction of an inch wider, which we had to cross off the list due to the width restrictions of our built-in. Once all the components were on-hand and the OLED was set-up, we were very happy. The image is clear & crisp. Multiple viewing modes make it easy to find what works best in your particular setting. If you have size restrictions, make you sure you measure the screen on-site, as the published dimensions may vary by a fraction of an inch. This was crucial in our situation.

Hands down, the best TV I've owned. Looks beautiful mounted flush on my wall. One caveat-for a completely flush installation, your wall must be even.

Great TV and it was built for wall mounting and even comes with a mount. Let it be know that it does not come with a stand so if you're planning on putting on a tv stand get the CX.

I purchased this LG OLED (2020) to replace an older LG OLED (2016). The picture has improved on the already fabulous picture of my older model. The issue with fast moving objects going blurry that was in older OLEDs appears to not be there any longer. The only issue I have is that the bracket to mount this model is very small and needs to have studs at 12 inches apart or smaller in your wall. I had to mount on my old one which doesn’t allow it to be flush to the wall like designed. It’s the same internal specs as the $500 cheaper CX so if your wall can’t support the GX, just look to the cheaper model. Once you go to OLED though it is difficult to go back to any other screen type. The picture is just too good.

Great picture, so thin!! Built in slim hanging bracket is great. Only issue was the drywall anchors. They were too heavy duty and created issues with our drywall. Used our own and everything seemed fine.

Best TV I have ever owned! Very thin and looks amazing on the wall. I researched over 50 tv's and this is one of the best if not the best. You definitely have to stick with OLED. Ultimately, Sony probably makes a better processor but I prefer the LG for the features and functionality. I would say if you own other Sony products then it would be easier to stay in the Sony universe but I prefer LG because I have other products. So pick between Sony and LG but understand LG has a significantly bigger footprint/marketshare overall.

This TV was the best purchase I've made in the last 10 years. Coupled with dolby atmos, it is the ultimate movie and video game Television. The input lag is non existant. Feels very much like a PC monitor from that perspective. My wife was skeptical on a high end tv like this, but the Gallery series gave a super slick design to our living room. Easily hides the wires and sits flush with the wall. Absolutely no burn in of any kind since purchasing it last fall. I bought the extended warranty with best buy just in case for that very reason. Only company that includes burn in protection. Would recommend this to anyone willing to pay.

For this price the soundbar and surround sound wireless speakers should have come with the TV. It is very thin and unboxing is really called for to make sure it has not been damaged in shipping. The picture is superb. The setup is rather extensive and not really easy. Very involved and took repeated times to solve various setup issues. I had a very specific reason to want a Thin Gallery model TV and of course that would be the top of the line, most expensive TV. I am not disappointed however. The TV is overpriced but is an excellent product. I struggled between Samsung and LG and am very satisfied with my choice of the LG Oled. As with most high end TV is will take some time to get used to all the controls and variations of menus and choices, My only immediate complaint is the remote NOT be backlit. Terrible omission, as most viewing is in the dark. Still working on the voice control which may make the remote unnecessary and my complaint moot. Check back after a few months and I will post a follow up.

Our first OLED and we absolutely love it. It's not as bright as I expected but the blacks are deeper than I had imagined them to be. Really very happy with how it looks.

Easily best picture quality. The sound quality is also extremely nice even without surround or sound bars. Blacks are so rich that they make colors stand out even more. Truly fantastic.

Looks great. It took a few days for it to calibrate completely. It seemed to do it on its own as the picture keeps getting better and better. I have a C7 LG OLED & upgraded living room to prepare for the PS5. I wish the 77 in wasn’t so much more expensive. 55->65 was $800 more 65->77 was $1,700 more I would have gone with the 77in if it was just $800-$1,000 more than the 65, but couldn’t justify the current difference. I ended up rearranging the furniture to have the seating about 5 ft closer which helps a lot. The mount being so flush against the wall looks great, but makes the tv further away than I’m used to...still I’m happy with the purchase.

This TV looks great. Everything about the picture is fantastic. Smart TV features are excellent, though LG doesn't carry and HBO Max app. Have to screen mirror from my phone -- pretty easy. Only thing I don't love is the sound quality. It's pretty good...for a television. I have it mounted above a fireplace and the additional height to put in a sound bar would have been too much for comfortable viewing, so we decided to just use the internal speakers. They're fine...but not great. I highly recommend the television, but wish I had it in a location where I could have a dedicated sound system as well.

By far this is the best Tv I've ever owned and the most expensive. I definitely like the fact that it is flush mount to the wall which requires additional expense on your part. (Hiding the wires) This LG Tv did not come with the cable management cover to hiding the wires for tv console display
