I purchased this tv a few weeks ago thinking it would be an upgrade over my other TVs and its been a pretty awful experience. The TV is very slow. HBOmax takes a VERY long time to load and Disney+ wont load at all. Even when apps load, sometimes the higher resolution toggles. I have a whole home fiber internet setup. Two of my other TVs are roku and a third uses a roku stick; none of them have ever had issues loading apps. Ive run updates, deleted and reinstalled apps and also reset the unit by unpluging and reinserting the power cable. I have also tried connecting it to the different routers/AP in my network and the problems still exist. Sure this tv has other nice features but if it can play apps with ease then its no good to me. I really wish i hadnt purchsed it. Fyi, the picture quality is excellent when it works but im rating the picture quality as poor becuse its not consistent.

Hi, Ayoon. Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience with the LG TV (65NANO75UQA) model. We understand your concern about receiving a brand-new TV and find a vertical line on the screen right out of the box. We aim to provide exceptional service and ensure careful packaging, but issues can occasionally arise during transit.

This could be due to a display panel defect or shipping issue. We recommend performing a soft reset by unplugging the TV for about 5 minutes before plugging it back in. This may resolve minor issues. For further assistance, visit https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-tv-troubleshooting-vertical-lines-or-stains-on-an-oled-tv-screen--20153130731463.

If the line remains, please contact our support team for a thorough inspection. Send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport, and we’ll assist you with troubleshooting or the warranty process for a potential replacement.

We want to ensure you have the best experience with your new TV and are here to help. ^Juvy LG

The picure is great. This is a good choice for lighter rooms. The blacks are not as low as I would want but didn’t want to bust the budget on this room. The biggest draw back is the latency on navigating the smart options. I would have paid for a faster processor with no hesitation. It is painful navigating!

Purchased for our son for the house he just bought. Great TV that does well regardless of room lighting. Picture quality is still great even at odd viewing angles. Sound quality is very good for TV speakers. Purchased for a great price as well. It is not OLED level but it was excellent quality for the price!

Great TV, But Mine Had Problems

I've been looking at NanoCell TVs for a few years. I've always had LG TVs and have been impressed with their longevity and picture quality. When I came across this TV on sale for under $400, I had to jump on it. It was definitely and impulse purchase, but I thought at that price, I didn't care too much as long as the picture was nice. So Best Buy delivered the TV and it sat in the box a couple of days until I had the time to set it up. When I finally got around to setting it up, I turned it on and went through the settings and made sure everything looked good, and looked they way I wanted. First impressions were that the picture was fantastic. It had bright, vivid colors, and deep blacks. The HDR seemed really good too. I watched a seen from Encanto, and the blacks were dark and the white areas really popped. At first glance, I was very happy with the overall quality of the TV. Over the next couple of weeks, we did minimal viewing on the TV. My daughter watched some sitcom-style shows on Disney+, and we watched The Bad Guys together as a family. Again, everything seemed to be going well and looking good. About two weeks in, I shifted content style and this is where the problem became apparent. We were watching Bluey, and on a show like this that has lots of solid colors, I noticed vertical black line/splotches running across the center of the screen. I kind of dismissed it at first, thinking maybe it was an anomaly. The next day, I was watching a VLOG on YouTube and the video did a pan across a bright, blue sky. I noticed the dark lines again. Dang. I immediately dis some research and discovered that I was looking at Dirty Screen Effect, except mine seemed to be a little more severe. I ran some tests. I looked at an all-white screen, and an all-grey screen. And there they were. Big, and as plain as day. Right smack dab in the middle of my screen. And just two weeks after setting it up. I immediately contacted Best Buy's customer service and they proceeded to tell me that there was nothing they could do because it had been 15 days, and I was outside of my 14 day return window. Now look, I get it. But I wasn't trying to return it because I decided I didn't want it anymore. All I was asking for was a replacement because my TV was defective. I had checked all my other TVs in the house. Two more LG's, and one Samsung. They all had minor DSE, but nothing to the extent that this one had, and none of them were smack dab in the middle of the screen. I ended up chatting with two different reps, and neither of them would budge. They told me that was just the way it was, and I'd have to live with the defects, or reach out to LG to set up a repair. In my opinion, after just 15 days, Best Buy should just send me out a replacement. And what if LG decides that my screen is "in spec" and refuses to replace my panel? Am I just stuck with these black splotches? This was a $1,000 TV. I couldn't imagine investing that kind of money in a TV, and finding these defects and being told to just "live with it." Here's my words of advice. If you buy a new TV, set it up immediately! Look at an all-white or all-grey screen. Look for Dirty Screen Effect. Make sure it's minimal or in a part of the screen where you won't see it. Unfortunately, every time my kids watch Bluey, we get to look at a row of vertical black splotches. Yay. Do your due diligence. Check every aspect of the TV and make sure it works for you. Cause after 14 days, Best Buy will tell you that there's nothing they can do and you're at the mercy of your manufacture's warranty. Don't do what I did, check your TV right away and start a return if need be. It's sad really, cause I love this TV. Everything else looks amazing. Too bad it has the defect in the panel. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we can get this resolved since Best Buy refuses to help.

Hello there. Thank you for sharing your experience with your 65NANO75UQA TV. We understand your inquiry regarding the vertical lines/splotches you've observed, also known as Dirty Screen Effect. Your feedback is important, and we'd like to assist you further.

Dirty Screen Effect (DSE) can occur in LED TVs due to inconsistencies in the backlight or panel manufacturing. While some level of uniformity variation can be common, especially with solid colors, we want to ensure your viewing experience is as expected.

Awesome TV. Great picture, great sound. The only thing it leaves me wanting is more connections. I really wish it had a headphone Jack for my sound system. That became overcomplicated very quickly. Only other thing that bothers me a lil bit is webOS. Not a big fan, personally. Other than that the main functionality of the TV itself exceeds expectations.

Great TV in compassion to others, I got this TV because I had a hisense from 2020 and it litterly just stopped working. But overall the color and brightness are solid for this TV along with the remote, I feel like the remote alone is like 70 bucks its super snazy. AI features are nice as well. Durabality is good this is LG. It is not OLED but you're not paying OLED price, still a getting above average picture quality, Brightness is still good for price point, like this is what it boils down to how much you want to pay for a TV this one only has x amount of nit, but same range as others on this price point. You just have to adjust the display settings to get better blacks, which is what I did, but most people will not even notice, but again, this is not OLED so you cannot be comparing apples and oranges. I got two of these due to sale, 55 inch and 65.
