Good Entry Level UHD TV

There are some challenges with dark scenes in any source material beyond 1080p. You will see some pixelation and “artifacting” for 4k material. Bottom line, for the price it’s fine and will be good for most people.

Geek Squad has done its very best to repair. Kudos to Nigel!! The replacement of motherboards did not help so a new panel was ordered and through the ordeal of replacing it with only one service tech for a 65" tv the new board was cracked when the tv was turned on it became noticable and it would not connect to wifi. The sercice tech said he would do his best to have the whole tv replaced but was not sure LG would do that. This has gone on for a month and LG needs to listen to the plea to replace the tv with a new one. I cannot give LG a good rateing with these facts staring me in the fave with no satisfaction to date.

If you lost or damage your remote, you can't access streaming at all until you order another. AND the iphone app is crap. 2 hours on the phone with tech and NO resolution. AND when I called LG support and gave my serial number and even texted the guy a pic of the sticker, I was informed that the number didn't match any of their serial numbers and he couldn't confirm it was even manufactured by LG. I bought it from Eau Claire Best Buy 14 months ago. Buyer beware.

Hard to install and hook up

Best Buy replaced it (I upgraded to 75" for the difference in price). The new on arrived today and WOW!! I fully expect this one to be great like every other LG product I have.

Wouldn’t load Netflix regularly, wouldn’t update apps. Sometimes would though. Sometimes we’d be watching and then it would stop. And then it wouldn’t load the app again Picture and sound was fine... when it would load before it stopped working. But Best Buy. Easy on the return. So easy. I didn’t have the box or the legs, because we mounted it. I threw the stuff away because it seemed to work at first. No issues. They just processed the difference in price. I bought the Samsung for about the same price. Love that one so far. I will always buy tv’s from Best Buy.

It's Big

Fortunately, we have the room to back away from it. It is not easy to change channels, and with all the arrows, hitting other buttons is a problem.

Apparently it was from a forklift that possibly did it. We returned it and I was made to feel like it was my fault. We did get another TV but I just didn’t feel like they believed me. Manager said”we will let you return it this time” . I don’t buy much but this did make me feel bad. I will still shop there but hopefully with no other problems.

Very disappointed!!!!☹

Although this TV is advertised as Crystal UHD TV, there was nothing Crystal or High Definition about it. Movies were very dark too, therefore theTV was returned. I plan on getting another one, but I was told by bestbuy team I should get a Qled which will not show so dark. Also I didn't like that the remote because it did not have voice command.

Not bad but not great!

I ended up returning and still looking for the mid priced 65” TV to watch sports clear/sharp! I may get stuck paying a lot more for my need!

But, since it's only 720 dpi and 60 hz refresh rate edges of images a bit blurry. Returned it, and bought up to a 1080 dpi 120 hz Sony.
