Amazing Soundbar Package

The LG S90TR 7.1.3 soundbar is an excellent choice for a well rounded surround sound experience. The S90TR comes well packed inside a rather large box, and comes with just about everything you need to get up and running. Setup is a breeze because the sub woofer and surround speakers are wireless. So as long as you have an outlet nearby, you can put them wherever you want. LG has their own soundbar app, so you will need to download that first to get up and running. After a quick firmware update I was up and running in just a few minutes. I already had another soundbar setup for surround, so this was very quick for me to do.
Sound is always subjective, and what sounds good to me may not sound good to you, but I will say that the S90TR sounds amazing out of the box, but I highly recommend running the sound calibration through the app and compare the before and after. And you also have the ability to EQ this soundbar, but you only get three channels, Treble, Mid, and Bass. I'll take it, because in my experience with several other soundbars, this is rare. The center and main channels fire up, which helps lift the sound. I was worried at first because my TV floats on the wall just above it, but I quickly realized this was a non issue, and was relieved how well it sounds. The S90TR has plenty of power too. Top Gun Maverick sounds phenomenal on this setup.
The LG Soundbar app gives you access to all the settings, and there are a ton of options, One minor issue with this is I found that some of the more common settings I use are buried in sections I wouldn't associate with the previous option. I guess what I'm saying is that there is bit of a learning curve to it.
AI Sound Pro is supposed to automatically select the best sound option for what you are listening to, but I found that Cinema works best for me in all situations. Maybe this is because I have bumped the bass up quite a bit via the sub woofer setting and EQ. I found that AI Sound Pro sometimes washes out the voices in the movies. That's why I keep in on Cinema
Overall it's quite an impressive home theater solution. It's literally a home theater in a box.

Let me tell you, the LG S90TR soundbar is the holy grail for movie nights at my place. It's like they ripped the speakers out of the cinema and plopped them right in my living room.
Films are insane now. With 7.1.3 channels pumping, it's like I'm sucked straight into the action. You hear whispers creep up behind you, explosions that thump your chest – it's mind-blowing. Hooking it up was a breeze, especially since my TV is an LG OLED too. No more tangled wires, just pure cinematic magic.
Speaking of magic, the LG WOW Orchestra tech is some seriously powerful stuff. It creates this massive, rich soundscape that washes over the whole room. It's like the sound isn't trapped in the soundbar anymore, it just fills the space, making everything feel way more real. And don't even get me started on Dolby Atmos and DTS-X. That unlocks a whole new level of immersion, with sound coming at you from all directions.
Now, let's talk bass – because this thing thumps with a whopping 670 watts of power. It'll rattle the windows (but in a good way), all while keeping the sound crystal clear. The wireless rear speakers are the secret weapon here. They add layers and depth to the sound, without the nightmare of speaker wire snakes slithering everywhere.
The soundbar uses some fancy AI tech to automatically adjust the sound for my room's acoustics. Doesn't matter where I'm sitting, I know I'm getting the best possible sound.
Overall, the LG S90TR soundbar is the king of the castle. It's a breeze to use, looks sleek next to my LG TV, and absolutely destroys my old sound system. If you're on the hunt for a soundbar that can shake your whole house, this soundbar is where its at.

Positives: Solid Sound. There is Support for Spotify + Bluetooth which is handy for a quick connection.
Negatives : As others have pointed out, the sound won't go louder than the first floor, which is a fair amount of Sound already! Just don't expect to wake your neighbors up, if that was your intention :D.
Small Caveat. The power system is not ideal. The Satellite speakers are 24/7 connected... How do I know? There is a constant Red light on them as an idle indicator. You have to work out a separate wireless power management system to turn them off on non-peak hours of the day.

The sound is extraordinary!! The easy install and operation are great. Great base without drowning out dialog. The wireless surround sound speakers give you sounds you would typically miss with other sound bars when watching movies and tv. I recommend this item!!

The setup was super easy. The sound is amazing. I use it in a room with really tall ceilings and it still fills the whole room with amazing sound I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a surround sound system.

I bought this open box speaker and it works like new. The surround sound is amazing, I use it for everything like watching movies, playing games and listening to music. The ai calibration is accurate and the bass on this system is amazing my floor actually shakes! I feel like I’m at the movie theaters 24/7

As much as I love a good action movie, when watching one, I need that immersive sound you get from a movie theater. The LG S90 TR sound bar gets me there in the comfort of my own home without all the wires of my previous surround system. Unboxing the system, the feeling of quality is immediate, from the heft of the sound bar to the build quality, everything feels very well made. LG includes brackets that allow you to mount the sound bar directly to your compatible tv. The surround speakers and subwoofer include small little lights that show whether they’re connected (green) or not (red). The surround speakers have standard screw holes that allow them to be mounted from the back or bottom.
When using this with a compatible LG tv, you get three features which LG calls WOW Orchestra, Interface and Cast. The Cast feature allows your sound bar to wirelessly connect to your LG tv and Interface allows you full control of the sound bar with the tv remote and you can see it on screen. With Orchestra you get the benefit of your tv and sound bar together to add even more depth. When dialing in the perfect sound you get eight sound effect modes with one being an AI mode that optimizes your sound for whatever you’re watching. The S90TR is an excellent sound bar that adds that movie theater sound especially when combined with a compatible LG tv.

Easy to setup and great sound. No lag in the wireless. Bought the LG TV with it and couldn’t have been easier to get it up and running. The bass is not going to knock books off the shelf but it still rounds things out really well.

Its sleek design seamlessly fits into any room, adding a touch of modern elegance. The setup is a breeze, and the numerous connectivity options ensure you can easily connect all your devices. Highly recommend this soundbar for anyone looking to elevate their home entertainment experience.

Made an immediate difference in our living room. Love the size of the rear speakers, and power of the subwoofer. It was amazing how it automatically set-up and synced with my LG TV with no work needed from me.

The reviews i read recommend installing using the online app. Which installs the SB as using blue tooth. The reviews raved how good it was and easy to install. I was not happy with the performance because my rear speaker did not perform. I switched to ARCe input, and the performance was amazing.

This Sound Bar is the one to get if you have an LG TV that works with WOW Orchestra that allows your TV speakers to be also used to enhance your sound systems. Rear speakers are easy to set up without having cords attached to subwoofer. Just plug in each speaker where you want it. This will hook up wirelessly to an LG TV but I found it better to attach to ARC hdmi. Wireless connection at times disengaged. Sound is great and enough bass from subwoofer.

Pretty much what I expected after having a S80QR previously. It sounds great, but I do have two gripes.
Issue 1- Where the previous S80QR had a small display that would tell you what mode it was in (Optical, BT, HDMI, etc) this one has just a series of led dots that are somehow supposed to tell you what mode it’s in. So you’re significantly more reliant on the app, where as the older models you could live without the app in its entirety…
Issue 2- It’s a royal pain to find a set of wall mounts for the rear speakers. I’ve bought and returned more than I’d like to admit…

This is an amazing Sound Bar system. Setup was very easy - place the items in the correct spots, the rear speakers are labeled left and right... Plug them in based on the order provided, and you are done. I have an older LG (C1 OLED) so I don't get the benefits of the WOW system, but the TV recognized the sound bar immediately when I plugged it in to HDMI 2. Change the sound output to the sound bar and you are in business. Powering on the TV brings the sound bar out of standby, and it's ready to go.
I will say... you need the phone app. Unless you have a C3 or C4 LG OLED, the app is entirely necessary to get full functionality out of this product, as there is no screen on the bar. There are LED lights, which the manual explains what they mean based on order, color and sequencing, but the app is far more prescriptive in understanding what the current status is. There are several review complaints about the lack of screen, but honestly, who wants to have a digital screen lit up beneath your TV? Once downloaded, the app recognizes the sound bar and you are off and running. The AI calibration was excellent and made a discernable difference in audio quality.
The depth of bass, and richness of sound makes this a no-brainer. I tried turning it off and using the TV speakers for comparison, and the difference was incredible. I recommend this highly for ease of setup and amazing audio quality for far less money than a traditional surround sound system.

Sound is good, it is a good system that is not high end but still sounds good. Probably should have gone with the s95 to get the full emersive effect, but it's still a good system. Pairs really easy and well with my LG OLED tv.
I would recommend this to a friend

I love it paired seamlessly with my new LG C4 , make sure u connect in this order for easy pairing plug subwoofer in first then rear speakers then sound bar ... Only gripe I have is navigating with jus remote it's impossible... Instructions unclear in manual but if u have the LG ThinkQ home app an connect it there it's super easy to control but you shouldn't need your phone to adjust equalizer an other settings is all but the SOUND is amazing quality top notch Overall Positive I bought an OPEN Box excellent condition I think it was mistake I paid $500 total . I would definitely recommend the BASS hits hard

This system sounds wonderful. It was a much needed inprovement from my ancient Sony soundbar i think came out around ‘Nam. It pairs well with the LG oled i have. The WOW orchestra function (which utilizes the tv speakers in addition to the system) really helps bring out speech and other audio which normally sounds muddy to me. The manual tells you to download the LG soundbar app and installs a firmware update which tells you after its done you must install the ThinQ app in order to actually control your soundbar so that was annoying and honestly im not sure its even necessary because I dont find it user friendly. It has an AI sound pro function which is supposed to automatically choose a listening mode to what you’re watching or listening to. In my experience this does not work well at all. I could be using it wrong or not understanding it but all it does for me is add what seems to be a delay or echo as if youre watching in a concert hall. All in all it functions and sounds amazing just seems like its added gimicks are unnecessary.
