    My husband researched the LG OLED and found several owners said the tv goes out. But still we went to Best Buy to purchase the TV. The one on display, OLED G2 was out. I said, “That’s a sign”, but because of “Other” ratings and we currently own a LG LCD for years with no issues we purchased the LG OLED G2. Delivered and installed April 11, 2023. TV went out 4 days after installation. Contacted Best Buy exchange for the Samsung 2023 model QLED. The picture quality is much better and so far no issues. But we saved the box just in case.

    if you buy this tv, know that it has a broken power board and will have to have it repaired by lg. I purchased this last week, had installed on wall and come to find out all 83 inch models have a broken power board. it has been over a year and they still all ship with it busted. so you will have to push the power button twice to turn on the tv. eventually the board will fail and tv will no longer turn on. lg will replace it but required me to have the tv down when they got here. so out $200 to install, $200 to take down, and another $200 to reinstall. dont make my mistake. lg customer service sucks as well as best buy. tv is 17 days old and best buy told me to pound salt despite being an elite plus member its a 15 day return policy.

    All was fine with this TV until it hit 2000 hours and the dreaded pixel cleaning message appeared, not to mention the fact that you have to press the power button twice before the unit will power on. Called customer service and all they want to do is reset the timer so the message goes away and will not address the real problem. After countless calls to LG customer service, I have gotten no answer for the problem and am now stuck with a $5000 tv that has multiple know issues that LG will not address. I will not buy LG products going forward and would urge others to do the same until they can stand behind the products that make.

    WIFI Problems

    The wifi keeps disconnecting and won't let me reconnect without unplugging from the wall. This is obviously a common issue. How can you sell a product at this price with this kind of issue and try to cover it up? I haven't had an issue with wifi on a single product in the last 10 years. Is this a software issue LG, or is it the wifi module in the unit that needs to be replaced? Why will it not even allow itself to be switched on/off when it becomes disconnected?

    This is a lovely TV for the first hour or so it actually works. Two brand new G2s in a row from Best Buy have had the picture inexplicably go black while the sound and power works fine. I am returning the second one and will never buy an LG TV again.

    Worst experience ever. Bought the TV more than 4 weeks ago. I have to go in person to the main store 5 times. They have rescheduled me 7 times And still I did not got the TV yet Keep dragging and today they give another 2 weeks date for the delivery

    Literally half the of the user interface of this "smart tv" are ads.

    had to have the power board replaced after 2 weeks in the home. lg had to back order the part. there should have been a recall on this particular tv as many have had the issue of pushing the power button many time to power on the tv. unacceptable.

    Like so many other, the wifi drops and can not be reset without unplugging the TV. Since we flush mounted and wiring is buried behind the TV, this is a big hassle. Shame on LG for letting a product out before working out the bugs.
