Bought this for my Surface and worked well. Have burned couple of Blu-ray discs without problems. Wish it was $10 cheaper.

I purchased this for home use. Computers are getting smaller and we sacrifice such things as cd drives. This unit was easy to set up and works with no problems.

Love this! Compact, sleek, uses very little space and the quality of play is fantastic! I have a very small area for my 'gadgets' and this was a great purchase!

Simply great, just plug it and let it do the playing for you. Drawback is you need to update the firmware.

Bought this external drive to use with new laptop. I am very pleased with the quality. It is very compact. It connects easily and does a great job.

Works good and is nice and slim. only downside it the noise. when playing a blu-ray, it will run pretty loud spinning.

Bought this LG Blueray player so I could upload DVD's to my Flixter Account. It took some doing, but I finally got it to work. The downside is not with the Blueray player, but rather that some titles are not upload-able to Flixter even if you offer to pay the upload fee when the title is not Ultraviolet. On a positive note, I do like the LG quality of this affordable Blueray player and happy with the purchase. I also took the extended Geek Squad warranty as always.

Works great for surface pro 3. I was able to put computer away and nos solely use surface for everythimg. Including movies and creating backups

Bought this to augment my wife's computer that did not come with an optical drive. It's nice and compact and did the job, but really loud. It also vibrates quite a bit. We wondered if it was going to explode on us! But, it loaded MS Office on the computer just fine. Haven't tried burning a DVD yet.

inexpensive but writes fairly fast/looks flimsy but have knocked it off table and it still ticks just fine/

It works great, the only downside is that you have to play the dvds/blu rays using the software provided.

Not much to say other than its sleek design is easy on the eye and it performs it's job perfectly. Also another Black Friday special!!

So far the writer has been great for my desktop iMac and is a lot cheaper than the iMac's version. It plays cd and dvd equally well.

Seems to work great so far. Burns disks quickly and effectively. Great addition to my Lenovo laptop.

I use this portable device with my Mac Air for watching my DVDs. It is lightweight and compact.
