I bought my LG Soundbar and it is absolutely garbage. No matter how you adjust it you cannot hear the subwoofer no matter how you connected. It says it’s on but you get nothing out of it. You lose connectivity to the Bluetooth speakers in the back of the room you gotta go in and constantly reconnect them worst sound bar ever I got an old Sony sound bar and subwoofer on the back porch sounds way better I can hear knocking on the door for my subwoofer on the LG. I hear absolutely nothing very unhappy with this purchase the only remedy I have is boxed up and send it back to LG. Best Buy wouldn’t do anything and I bought the extended warranty.
Hi, Chet. Thanks for sharing your experience with the LG Soundbar (S95TR) model. We appreciate your detailed feedback and understand how important it is for your audio setup to deliver consistent, immersive sound.
If your subwoofer isn’t producing sound, we recommend performing a full reset of the soundbar and subwoofer by unplugging both units for 60 seconds, then powering them back on and re-pairing. For rear speaker connectivity, ensure they’re within range and not obstructed by walls or furniture, and check that the firmware is up to date using the LG Sound Bar app. For more help, visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8heWFAC1jg. What a step up from the Samsung soundbar and rear speaker system I was using. Most noticeably, the wireless rear speakers are actually wireless rather than requiring a speaker wire to be ran between them in addition to having far superior sound quality and volume.

I coupled this device with my LG OLED AI smart TV. It works great. Good product, good sound, reasonable price, good packaging and in-time delivery. I used pick up option and it was ready to pick up even before the time they gave me.

I have only had it hooked up for less than a week, but I’m loving it so far. I was able to purchase it on sale at Best Buy. I had to reset my router to be able to connect to Wi-Fi. There are a few tips on how to set it up and calibrated it on YouTube.

pain in the.... all the settings suck. the calibration feature never works. have to use thinq to manually adjust. the problem is the rear speakers are way to loud. can't hear the voices...movies, comedies, baseball games. what a rip off!
Hi, Reid. Thanks for reaching out and sharing your experience with the LG Soundbar (S95TR) model. We understand how important balanced audio is, especially when you're trying to enjoy dialogue in movies, shows, or sports.
To help improve voice clarity and reduce rear speaker volume, we recommend adjusting the Sound Field EQ settings in the LG ThinQ app. You can also try enabling Clear Voice mode, which enhances dialogue, and manually lowering the rear speaker levels under Speaker Settings > Rear Level. These adjustments can make a noticeable difference in how sound is distributed across your setup. For more help, visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oBlEC8u1glQ. Installation was apparently faulty. After 3rd visit to correct is working very well and enjoyable.

I agree with what the one guy said that it’s probably worth the sale price of 999 dollars but not the full price at all. First you’re not going to get any manuals at all with this purchase or online. Thank God there’s some Youtubers who have put together a few videos that help solve some major problems and get certain features working. Sad that LG hasn’t taken the time to clearly educate you on their product and how to set it up. But that’s common with all companies nowadays. One of the things you have to figure out on your own is that you need to download LG ThinQ app after finding out that the LG sound bar app is being discontinued. That’s the only way you’re going to fine-tune this product and maybe get more out of it that you expected. I still haven’t been able to pick out a configuration. I like that works with all of the input devices or streaming sources to get a quality reliable sound. Pretty much the same with the image as some of this enhanced image looks like it makes the people look plastic or the environment look plastic versus something real. I’m not impressed with all this new technology at all as I think my Panasonic plasma TV had a much better image and the good old days of quality speakers and amplifiers is sorely missed as they provided much better sound than this crap being sold at exorbitant prices. Wish I could say I spent my money well on this brand new TV and sound bar to match, but I can’t.
