I have now had my LG-G3 phone for over 3 weeks and am still loving all the stuff it can do. Havent had any problems with it. I'm still discovering everthing about it. It takes beautiful pictures, you can remove the battery which is a good thing. I love the 5.5 screen. I purchased a case for the phone online and it fits perfect.

This phone is an upgrade to my Galaxy S2. Performance, voice clarity, pictures, screen resolution, battery life are all excellent. I love it so far.
On the other side, my store experience was little upsetting. I asked for a black (non-contract) G3 32 GB from Bloomingdale, IL store but didn't verify my purchase assuming the piece is 32 GB. No mention of the storage config on the box as well. I didn't even open the box and immediately came back to store for confirmation. Store person opened the brand new box and saw a blue phone in it and when verified, phone IMEI # didn't match the box. Store representative Amanda started asking me whether I changed the phone. I was surprised and very upset. After several conversations, they finally gave me a 32 GB black phone. Though the box was brand new none of the box was sealed. Please beware of this.

I have to start out by saying I have been a long time android fan and user, and have always been a "bleeding edge" guy who needed the latest and greatest device!
After breaking my Note 3, i went through a few cheap off contract phones until my upgrade date. My wife was also eligible so we went to BestBuy together and played around with the few phones, before we both came across the LG G3.
I absolutely LOVE the size of this device...it's not quite a fablet, but it is bigger than most phones, providing a beautiful screen and great size for viewing webpages, apps, pictures, videos, etc.
The G3 offers full day battery life, and that has even improved with the recent Android Lollipop upgrade!
The camera offers up great pictures in all light settings!
Paid $1 to upgrade to this phone, and even though its not the latest and greatest device on the market anymore, it is a great flagship phone and made even better by the price!

takes great pictures. great battery life. newest version of Android. plenty of storage built into the phone and I expanded it by 64gb for less than $20 on Amazon! Could go up to 128GB microSD card. removal battery, but doubt I'll have to mess with that in the next few years. Its a fast responding device. Have lots and lots of apps running simultaneously and it doesn't even flinch.

I switched from Apple to Android platform with this phone. Was a little nervous because of a prior experience with a Samsung. This phone works great as a phone, in that the speaker is crazy loud and the mic picks up really god as well. I'm old so don't use this as a review for gaming, It's screen is very clear, camera is feature rich and hi res. Battery life is good once you disable the bloat ware and get things sorted out. Does have a lot of bloatware that can't be deleted. LG pc suite is basic but gets your music and contacts etc imported from itunes

If you want the most compact smartphone with a 5.5" screen with top-notch specs, there aren't many devices that compete with this. So far I've been impressed by the outstanding battery life. I typically use the phone all day but never run out of battery. I've accidentally played music on it overnight (with music playing when awoke) and there was still plenty of power left. Great display with minimal bezels, fast chipset, tons of space (32GB and expandable), great battery, plus lots of other things. I compared this to my friend's iphone 6 plus and we both agree the G3 is a better device overall. His phone barely fits in his tight jeans haha.
BTW i got a free spare battery and charger from LG during a promotion but never use it! But it was a nice gift regardless.

I will begin w/my only serious gripe: the phone feels a little warm at times and I believe some reviews mention this issue. It hasn't been uncomfortable but the first time I felt it I was a little concerned thought it hasn't been a detriment to the phone's reliability or performance.
I bought this to see if I would enjoy using an Android phone now vs. my iPhone 5s that I have been using for the last year. So far it is much more fun to use than my iPhone and seems to just work faster for some applications. My iPhone works great and all, but the interface just seems a bit more sterile compared to the options I have to personalize my G3. Besides that it has a Guest mode that limits access to 3 apps. I have the option of using a split screen which thus far works well. The camera seems to be just fine, I have yet to really explore but since a camera is not my primary concern I am not too worried about it yet. Oh, there is the issue w/the power and volume buttons being placed on the rear plate of the phone. Personally, I am already used to this and have found that it makes for an easier time taking pictures since I can just tap the screen to take the shot w/out worrying about inadvertently pressing any side buttons prematurely.
The screen looks very nice and for a run of the mill consumer such as myself, it's not a huge issue that the blacks aren't as true as on other phones or that the screen isn't as bright either. I tend to use the phone in a dimly lit room so my preference would be to have the brightness turned down. I have no qualms watching "Planet Earth" on my screen while waiting at my bus stop under a shady awning.
My opinion may differ later, but for now I find that I am happy to have purchased this phone which although relatively large, doesn't feel that way but still provides enough of a screen for me to comfortably edit spread sheets w/greater dexterity than on my iPhone 5s.
All in all, this phone just works great and feels more responsive to my commands and provides a more enjoyable experience than my minimalist staid iPhone.

Best phone I've ever had so far

This is the best phone I've had so far. I love the larger screen and the thin bezels so its not as gigantic as phones with similar sized screens. I'm 6'0 and it fits in my hands well although can be difficult to use one handed like a regular sized phone. I prefer more screen real estate and great to have 6 icons on the bottom row and 5 x 5 icons on the main area.
Battery life is better than my last phone an HTC Evo. I've had it a week now and can last through the day without a charge with regular use, gps kept on the whole time and podcasts playing for a few hours, 30min worth of phone calls, and probably a combined total of 2 hours of social media/web browsing.
Camera is great, really fast just tap on screen and it takes photo instantly, a bit slower in low light. The dual led is really bright as a flashlight, and gives a good even light for photos within 6ft. Selfies utilize the small camera screen and brightening the rest of the screen to act as a light, works well(I do not take selfies). Get the google camera app if you want to click on a part of the screen to adjust the exposure as the native camera app won't do that which was a bit disappointing, but overall its a really great camera.
Responsiveness is really fast, no slow down, fast start up, volume buttons on the back are great and never accidentally pressed in like other phones with the buttons on the side. Overall the best phone I've had and I definitely prefer it over the testing I did with a Samsung S5 and htc one m8. The htc one m8 definitely has way better sound tho if thats a major concern to you.

The laser auto-focus camera works terrific! loved it! It can compete against the G4.
Coming from the Moto G, it gives a quicker, snappier experience, yet I wish LG would run their devices with pure android, and not have their not-so-great skin on top of Android.
I would not recommend it due to the LG Software on top of Android.

Been very happy with overall performance. The battery so far has been exceptional, easily getting 2 days with moderate usage, & a full day with heavy use. Camera is very good& have no glitches with freezes with the software. Google maps is very accurate & user friendly when used for driving turn by turn directions. No regrets with purchase, had approximately one month.

I'm going through a lot of phones this year, trying to find something that suits my needs. I used to have an iPhone until 2 years ago, then I switched to a Nokia Windows phone just for the sake of trying out something new. The Nokia was pretty good in that it's specs were better than the iPhone - better camera, more memory, etc, but in the end, the lack of apps for windows phones was the killer. I switched to a LG G2 earlier this year, but found the phone battery terrible and along with it, despite the 2 GB RAM, terrible lag with multiple apps open. It was perhaps a defective phone because the battery rarely lasted over a 6 hours, and I'm not a heavy user. After about 4 months, I got this G3 about a month ago, and so far, quite happy with it. The battery specs are the same as the G2 (3000 mAH), but it seems to last longer - which leads me to believe that my G2 was indeed defective. The performance is also good, but I still run into issues with some apps taking a few seconds to launch when multiple apps are running - this despite the 3 GB of RAM. All in all, pretty satisfied with this phone - and my search for a good phone has probably ended - until next year.

I was torn about leaving iPhone after only using iPhones since the 1st generation; this LG G3 makes me wonder why I didn't leave Apple long ago! The clarity of sound, camera, and phone screen is amazing. But a major selling point for me was the fact that not only can I expand media with a microSD card, but I CAN SWAP OR REPLACE THE PHONE'S BATTERY! Love it, love it, love it!

LG - G3 4G Cell Phone - Better Than Galaxy S6

So I returned the Galaxy S6 in hopes to find something with a better battery, pictures and memory storage. I'm SO glad that I gave this a try despite the reviews that said the back of the phone is plastic & looked cheap. Uh, that's what a phone cover is for...this phone's battery is awesome, takes great pictures, has the emoj icons and is very user friendly for anyone. I went from a Note 3 to Galaxy S6 to this phone which I LOVE & can't say enough about. Oh & there are some reviews that say the phone gets hot after a certain amount of time - I noticed that it did get a LITTLE warm but I slapped on a phone cover & that took care of that. I wish I would have waited a little longer because the LG4 is now out but oh well - still a great buy!

I love my new att LG G-3 phone. It works perfect. Its has a 5.5 inch screen and is just as good as or better than the apple iphone 6 plus phone. So far i have not had any problems. The pictures are beautiful. i bought a cream case for my cream phone and i love how the circle on front of the case allows you to operate certain parts of the phone without opening the case. You first have to set it so it will show when the case is closed. Of course i didnt buy the real expensive name brand case, i bought it for only $12.99 and it even has the magnant that keeps the case closed.

I bought the LG G3 the day it was released, with a lot of skepticism. But having used it for a week now, I feel completely satisfied with my purchase.
The phone has an amazing screen and a great battery life (runs 2 full days with my normal use). Also, the LG Android skin is pretty light and so it's mostly stock Android 4.4, which is great. The knock code is pretty amazing.
I was a bit skeptical initially about getting used to the buttons on the back, instead of the sides. But it turned out to be pretty neat. I seldom use the buttons now, since waking/locking the phone can be done without ever using the buttons.
The performance is super fast. Coming from a Samsung S3, this phone is blazingly fast. I have never experienced any sluggishness so far, even when I have multiple apps running at the same time.
Overall I feel this is the best smartphone one can get (at the moment!). Go for it! :)

Had this phone now for 1 month and still loving it. Previously had the HTC One X, this phone is better in just about every way. As the professional reviews say, it feels great to use one-handed, and doesn't really do anything badly. Great photos, speaker, display, fast, easy-to-use, reliable. Battery easily gets me through the day.

Nice big screen, but doesn't feel too big in the hand. The screen looks very crisp and sharp. I can tell a difference when compared to 1080p phones, but it's not a huge difference, just a little sharper. Very fast phone and good battery life. LG put on some nice features but didn't over do it with bloatware.
