I bought this phone for my mother while adding her to my sprint family plan. I read many review online and saw that it was a phone and when it came on sale I had to take advantage of it, the camera is good not great, it takes a while to get used to the different controls from other android phone, its very fast and responsive, the screen is very crisp and bright, have great reception all around. It's fast to unlock, but the only drawback it the weird decision LG has used recently in their high end phone to put the main power/unlock button at the back, because of this and the size of the phone I don't recommend it for someone with small hands specially if you use a case like otter cases, which I recommend because the screen goes from side to side.

This is definitely a step up from previous models. Camera is excellent and processor is fast. I'm very happy with it.

I was looking for a phone with long battery life and great camera. It came with the extra battery that easily switches out. The camera is the best camera I have had with a phone.

I have a tablet that got ruined in terrible storm. My backpack was not waterproof, so this has been a great phone to help me function. Large screen and excellent resolution.

When I purchased this phone I had researched all of the top name brands and decided on the LG G5. It is the best phone ever. While Samsung and Apple were doing recalls, I was enjoying my phone. No bugs, no kinks. Extremely sturdy build and best of all it functions as more than a phone without bogging you down. The processing speed is excellent and I love the reception I receive. I am also extremely pleased with the features and functionality. This device was under rated and under estimated, but it is certainly one of the most well designed phones with a great deal to offer in innovation.

According to 12 year old owner: its big. It has good sound. It has good photo features. It chargest fast. Like that the off button is on the back instead of the side. 4 out of 5 because with head phones its not as loud.

I debated and debated between the LG and the S7. I am glad I went with the LG G5. Just the ability to swap batteries where the S7 can't do that. I bought a battery and charger for $30.00. Now I have two batteries and this phone has the ability to expand to my needs. The screen is crystal clear and the camera takes great pictures. The ability to switch to panoramic makes taking pictures a breeze when you need to fit people or objects into a shot. The only downfall is the battery doesn't last as long as the S7 but I will take a shorter battery and the ability to swap over the little bit of longer life of the S7. I personally like the finger button on the back. If is much more natural and my phone can be unlocked with one finger using the fingerprint scanner, which works great. To top it off the price of the phone on an upgrade beats other phones in its class. I would buy another LG phone and I have had three Samsung phones prior to this.

The G4 was good, but this is where I wanted my device to be. The power and speed are great, having the 2 different lenses allows flexibility, you can swap batteries as needed (rapid charging avoids a lot of that) and you can add tons of storage. Who else can do that?

We bought the LG G5 as a replacement for our daughter's LG G3. She had tortured and abused the old phone beyond its limit. The G5 is a beautiful handset. The UHD display is crisp and responsive, for all of her music videos. The sound is deliberate and full bodied. High res cameras front and back. Snappy processor gets it done, even with "a ton of apps" open. Her hands aren't quite as grown up as she thinks she is, but the dimensions of the case allow her to maintain a solid grip as she sends 8000 texts per day. It also makes phonecalls!

Very Happy so far. Screen resolution is great. Camera is great. Battery is very good. Seems to hold a charge good.

Most professional reviewers are dissapointed with this phone because of the uselessnes of the modules. They're very much correct, but what they're missing out on is a really great phone. Swappable battery, micro SD card (not adoptable storage), the best camera of AAA phones from last year that still blows this years phones away, wide angle camera lens, great front facing camera, quick snappy UI, rear fingerprint sensor/power button, USB C, fast charging 3.0.

I researched this phone and got it as a trade in for one dollar. It is absolutely incredible. It is we'll built and has cutting edge features that truly make my life easier. I am a professional engineer and consultant . I use the phone for work and ot exceeds my expectations each day. And it is the ultimate in entertainment as we'll. I couldn't have dreamed for a better phone. Extra long battery life. Fast charging. Incredibly impressive features and functions. There are so any positive and pleasing features of the device that I can't list them all. I think this is one of the best phones on the market and I not only recommended it to others but even purchased another one for a friend.

This phone replaced an older LG G3 and was well worth it. Performance and battery life just great.
