This phone is definitely one of the best "middle-class" cell phones. For the price, the speed is competitive with many flagship phones. The camera has excellent HDR quality and the phone receives updates as they are released. As an unlocked phone, most carriers are compatible. An absolute Best Buy!

Bought this phone on Black Friday. Love that its unblocked, which allowed me to look around for carriers. It is a bit larger than I thought it would be. Screen is very clear. I also thought it was a bit slippery, so I had to order a case from Google's website, which ended up working well. Photo quality is good and so far its LTE has worked well on cricket. Have not dropped it (thank goodness) so no review on durability. I had a Windows phone previously, and have had an iPhone Touch and Nexus7. I'm now glad to have an Android phone for the apps.

My first smart phone. I chose this phone because I have a Google Nexus tablet and figured I'd have less of a learning curve, which proved to be true. I like the size, weight and feel of it. Takes good pictures, quick response and good display. I have only two minor complaints: 1)The fingerprint security feature is cool, but it does not work when your finger is too cold, too dry, not dry enough, not clean enough, etc. I finally disabled it out of frustration. 2) Because this phone is neither an IPhone nor a Samsung, it is difficult to find cases, chargers, accessories, etc. except on-line. Still, I really like the phone

This was the second Nexus 5x I have purchased. This is a great phone, especially at the $300 sale price. The fingerprint reader is fast and extremely useful. The camera is great, especially compared to my Nexus 4. Pure Marshmallow is clean and smooth, and quick and reliable updates make it worth every penny. I love my Nexus devices [4,7 (2012), and this]!

same processor as blackberry priv, but with a lower resolution screen. this phone has the latest version of android (may require updates out of the box), and doesnt lag like the blackberry priv. nexus devices are the closest to pure android as they get, and google maintains the updates, not your carrier. finger print scanner runs perfectly as well. pros: timely android os and security updates fast processor, no lag cons: low storage (16gb and 32gb), no expandable memory.

Using Android stock version with no added apps like what the carries do, the phone is fast and smooth for 299 and last a day and half without charge.

Good Phone. Nexus 5X is the smaller and more affordable choice in Google’s current smartphone line-up.

It is the most affordable smartphone than can compete with the big brands. Really like "Ok Google" function, highly sensitive.

A slight upgrade from the Nexus 5...

I am reviewing Model LG-H790 Nexus 5x 16Gb Color White: Pros: -The width of the phone has decreased -The material (plastic) feels solid -The LCD is bright and sharp with good viewing angles -The LCD is viewable in direct sunlight -The fingerprint reader is fast and accurate -Wifi has good signal -Cell radio has good signal -No Lag experienced -Experiencing great batter life (14 hour day surfing web, gps, watching movie, recording movie, etc end of day had ~38% battery) -Camera fast and focus is fast with good sharp results. Cons - Mono speaker is okay average at best (not as loud as LG G4-Tmobile) - After hours of screen time fingerprint reader area gets warm to the touch (never hot) Overall use it is slight upgrade to the Nexus 5 (N5 was an awesome phone). This phone decreased in width but increased in height (taller than the LG G3-tmobile). Easily usable with one hand. I am left handed and prefer buttons on the left hand side but easily reachable on the right. 16Gb not enough storage IMO. Google should of went with 32Gb/64Gb or given us a micro sd storage option. I won't be keeping this phone. Have a Nexus 6p 32Gb on the way. I do recommend this phone for anyone who wants a cpu responsive, nice camera, great battery life, and minimal storage (16Gb version). Google went cheap and didn't include a usb adapter for those of us who don't have type c accessories around the house yet.

Finally broke down and decided to replace my Nexus 5. While this phone isn't as stylish as the 5, it's loaded with a lot more features. I really like the fingerprint reader fir extra security.

It's a good piece of hardware, but included charger and cable is only USB-C to USB-C. There is no USB to USB-C cable in box, so can't charge or sync it with any laptop - you need to buy extra cable...
