Love this unit. It is an elegant design. Simple to use and powerful. The unit is very easy to clean.

This microwave works as promised. As someone who has used microwave ovens for over 40 years I can say that the inverter design does improve the function by making the heating process more even. Reheated foods are more consistently heated without dried edges. Read the instructions for using containers and covers to improve the function of the sensors. The sensors need some steam to measure cooking progress. There are only a few buttons, which means you select the type of cooking or reheating for different foods by multiple presses of a button, but the codes are just inside the door for reference. I miss a dedicated "beverage" button. I would suggest leaving the door open a few minutes after cooking to let steam escape. It seems to keep the inside drier. The oven tends to slip a little when opening the door, but putting non-skid pads under the feet solved that.

At the beginning, I was not too sure about the new control interface, but the simple and clean touch style time entry control proves itself. It's simple and efficient. This unis also has nice big size. I have not yet try all the sensor cooking functions yet.

Microwave works great and looks amazing. It is a change from a regular microwave since a few of the functions need to be done with the door open, but otherwise it is fairly simple.

Bought this LG print proof stainless steel mid size microwave to replace an extra large white Panasonic. It is the most money we have ever spent on a microwave, but it's worth every penny! I wanted a microwave without the push button opening for the door, since that is the design of our previous microwave that broke and necessitated us having to buy a new one. The LED light inside is energy efficient and brighter than any previous microwave I have owned. Programming this microwave it's so easy! The way it operates make sense! I wasn't sure if I would like the black stainless finish, but it's very easy to keep clean. When the microwave is finished heating your food it plays a cute chime instead of those annoying beeps. It was a pleasant surprise the first time I used it. It reminds you if you've left something in it. We have an LG washer and dryer that we love also, so when I saw this was an LG brand I didn't hesitate. Wasn't sure if the midsize would be big enough inside to handle the plates and cookware that we use, but there's plenty of room. Love this microwave!

Looks great in place. Functions flawlessly with great power of 1200 watts. Love the design.

Nice microwave,a bit pricey for the size/features. I like the simplified controls: when the door is closed, you really only have increase/ decrease time, start, and pause/cancel as "smart touch" buttons on the glass. Increase/decrease time works as either pushing or holding buttons to increase/decrease time in 10 second intervals, or a touchscreen slider which is really responsive and intuitive. Other options like defrost by weight, cooking presets, etc, are only accessible when the door is open, on the inner bevel. There is no 10 sigit keypad though, which i found restrictive-somet times i just want to punch the time in. The slider is a decent alternative, so no big deal. It heats fast, fastervthan my previuos 1100 watt microwave. Point of comparison: a bag of pop secret took around 2:05 in my last microwave, this does it in about 1:30.

This is a very nice microwave and I'm happy with my purchase. I've only had it for a week now so haven't used it a whole lot. The inside light is nice and apparently it's easy to clean which is a plus. It's powerful and heats and cooks things in less time than my old one of 25+ years that was about to die.

This microwave is pretty nice. We like the 30 second quick function vs the 1 minute ovens we had before. the buttons are TOO subtle and hard to see for us older folk. I had to make stickers to see what we were doing. The slide function on the front panel is strange. It's OK, but not what I would have chosen to put up front as the main function. The heating is nice, somewhat gentler than our old microwave which used to always throw the fuse. The light inside is pretty good, and makes watching your food easy enough to monitor. Too bad the inside color of the microwave is dark. I think it would be even easier to see if the color were lighter. The bad part is the chime. It's a cheery little tune that plays when it's done....and then again after half a minute if you don't get your food out...and again and again and again. I actually wrote to LG to ask how to disable this irritating function. They have not responded. Yes, I would recommend this, but not if they get easily irritated with the music, or if they're older and can't see the buttons easily.

Operating instructions are pretty clear. Simple to operate with a good balance of features. Some I have tried out with good results (sensor cook or sensor reheat). I really like the slide touch feature which allows you to increase or decrease cooking time while the microwave is operating. Door opens and closes easily. Nice neat clean look.

I bought this to replace a similar model that I had for about 10 years before it quit. Although a little different, it was easy to use right out of the box and has done everything it should the way that it should. Easy to clean, easy to operate, and an overall good valus.
