We've been using a different brand of washer and dryer because we thought it's better to buy an expensive, well known brand to make sure that it will last for long time. But we got really disappointed with our last dryer, not only that it last for less than 10 years but it's also very loud that everytime we wash our clothes we need to turn up the volume of our tv just to hear the conversation better. With this dryer everything is superb, very quiet, easy to setup, nice looking exterior, easy to use and huge capacity for one load. We have another LG brand of appliances in our kitchen and another washer and so far for 3 years we didn't experience any problem yet.

I really like this dryer. It may not have a million cycles like some do, but I think the amount of setting and cycles are just fine. I have 5 kids so my wife and I are doing laundry on a daily basis, and the size of the inside and the settings are great. The manufacturer says that it has "diamond glass" and it is much quieter than most other units...To be honest it doesn't seem to be any quieter than my last 10 year old dryer. I do love the steam setting and wrinkle release setting. Overall I'm very satisfied.

This dryer, and the LG washer, are great. My wife loves the many cycles, the ability to hold a whole load from the washer and especially the anti-bacterial steam option. We have a child with a genetic disease and this is now helping keep her from getting many bacterial infections. We love it.

I purchased the washer version of this last year and I decide to make it a match. The dryer runs great and does a nice job of drying my clothes. The steam function works great with a standard load but not for a few pieces of clothes. They come out wet. All said I would buy this one again.

This dryer has an easy-to-use interface, it works well, it's fast (gas heaters are, of course, always the hottest/quickest), and we have had zero problems. A little sad that we can't use dryer sheets, but with the right detergent, clothes still smell great.

I was pleased with the design and the large tub which held 10 pillows. For large or small items the dryer adjusts for the correct drying time. We liked the controls in the front with all the choices to make drying personalized and easy. The timing adjusts to the garments. Everyone wants to try it out, so it is bringing sisters to come by to see how they like it. WE like it a lot. My husband does the laundry and he could not be more pleased. Wonderful.

So far, this dryer has been great. It is very easy to navigate through the different cycle options. The dryer is large enough to steam dry a king-sized comforter. The overall look and quality is excellent. I have noticed that the top of the dryer shows streaky scratch marks after I have wiped it down from dust. Nothing big as these are not true scratches, but they are somewhat noticeable. I would highly recommend this dryer (with matching washer) as it is a great price for the quality.

We bought this dryer a month ago after doing a ton of research. This gas model has done everything we wanted it to do. With the large capacity, we don't worry about needing to dry bedding. Everything comes out nice and dry every time. The machine is ultra-quiet. I have to listen hard when I'm in the next room to even tell if the machine is still running.

My old washer was loud and would sometimes take up to 3 hours to dry! This does it quietly and efficiently.

This is a large dryer with many control options that meet all of my needs. It is gentle on my clothes while being very efficient; most loads dry in 40 minutes. The steam feature is helpful in removing wrinkles. I love this dryer.

Rated performance a 4 because medium heat setting isn't as hot as older machines. I had to add more time to get clothes dry. Overall really happy with it. Yes it is quiet. Almost too quiet. If you had older timer controled machine you will have to get used to push button selection. End of cycle could be louder.

I read the reviews before I bought this dryer and they were pretty good! So glad I purchased the washer and dryer! Works great, love the large capacity, runs very quietly and I love everything about it. Would definitely recommend this, worth every penny!

The reviews on this product were mostly favorable with a few exceptions. We have had no problems with our unit at all, It does the job beautifully and is very quiet to boot. Our venting system in the laundry room is a little tricky. It requires the vent to actually turn up toward the ceiling. The dryer had no difficulty with this. One review stated they kept getting a "blocked vent alarm" from their unit, so we were afraid this might happen with ours. It didn't. Overall a great dryer. AND it's pretty too!

I have the matching washer. This is the nicest looking dryer I have ever seen. Not only is it pretty to look at it is an amazing dryer! It is European style so all the controls are easy to reach. There are preset cycles for ever load imagineable. But, you can alter the heat, time or anything else you need. The clothes come out ready to hang up. It is quiet. The lint filter is easy to clean. The machine reminds you to clean the filter. When the cycle is over a beautiful chime sounds. I love my dryer! I bought this dryer because I wanted a matching set. My other dryer still worked. Now that I have this one it makes all the difference in the wold. My clothes look amazing. My laundry time is extremely shorter now. What took all day now only takes a couple hours. I don't mind doing laundry anymore. This machine is amazing!!!'

The best part is that the dryer is quiet. It is quite easy to use as well and the clothes seem to take less time to dry.

I wrote a companion review for the washer and the same types of things apply for this dryer. It is very efficient. The dryer will sense the amount of moisture in the load and adjust the drying accordingly so that it doesn't overdry your clothes. The different cycles allow you to really customize the drying. It is also very quiet. Just like the washer, the end of cycle tune is cute!

Love all the new features and best of all it has steam clean, i always have a shirt that needs a little touch up, and this dryer does that. Love it!

Nice sized dryer that can handle a large load. Have used it to dry everyday clothes to large comforters and am pleased with the outcome. Since I have only had the dryer for a couple of months, I have not yet had a chance to use all the cycles yet, have just stuck to the most common ones. However, I plan to try the rest soon.
