If you are looking for mobile gaming this is the perfect laptop. The Nvidia GTX 1650 is surprisingly fast in games. I do recommend changing system settings so the Nvidia GPU is used exclusively for everything. You can customize the experience but the auto features will send video through the Intel GPU at times. This is by design to save battery life. A little research gives you all the tools you need to optimize your gaming laptop.

Bought for my wife as a replacement for her Dell...she lives it. Thin, great display and fast.

I needed a new laptop because I decided to go back to school after 20+ years and my old laptop was 7 yrs old and just a little too slow. I don't know much about computers but I checked the specs of what is considered the top of the line right now and figured out what was average and went from there. It took me a few days but I finally narrowed it down to this one and I could not be happier! It starts up in a matter of seconds compared to minutes with my old one (an excellent laptop 7 yrs ago) and keeping up with my school work it has been spot on. There will be times I will have 15 or more tabs open and multitasking like crazy and this machine just keeps on going. Set up was a cinch! It arrived on the 2nd day of classes and I was so afraid the set up was going to take away from my school work but the longest time was breaking down the boxes!! I love this laptop and it is far and above anything I will be needing it for. As far as gaming goes I can't really comment there but the games I used to play on my tablet I now play on here and what a difference!!!! The graphics are so clear.

Excellent laptop. Boots up super quick (less than 5 seconds) and the GTX 1650 can handle light gaming. The screen is phenomenal as you'd expect from LG with no "light bleed" from the edges. The IPS screen produced deep, even blacks. The deal breaker like others have mentioned is that the speakers are very poor. It's maxed out but still sounded tinny with no depth. Basically sounds like smartphone speakers from 2015. It's hard to watch videos on a great 17" 2k screen when the speakers are tinny. Our MacBook 12" sounded way better even though it was smaller it had full bass and clarity. Although I got it at a great deal ($949 open box) I might have to return it. Will definitely buy next year if LG fixes the speaker issue as I love the lightweight 17" form factor

I’ve had my computer for a few weeks now and It’s awesome. I currently use it alot for zoom conferencing and I’m waiting to drop in my MS Office for classes. My laptop is light weight for caring around to different areas. My set up with tech support ran smoothly they addressed all my concerns and questions.

It was just before Black Friday when I stumbled on a advertisement for this computer on the Best Buy web site. Ironically, before this I went into a Best Buy store and did not find the laptop I wanted. Sure, some looked beautiful but I was looking for a 17 inch with 16:10 aspect ratio. Everything checked out down the specs lest the i5 chip but at the price I bought it for it was a mega deal. I forgave the i5 since it came with a discrete GPU. But the perhaps the biggest attraction is the screen. Its a 2k which is half way between a 1080p and 4k. It is sharp enough and ideal since 4k has a lot of pixels for a computer to process for little gain. LG was brilliant in this aspect. No need for marketing hype. I do photography but now and then I play a few games to have a bit of fun. I love this machine. I bought it as an open box in excellent condition for $1100 with tax included. I definitely staying with it and hope to use it for a few years. I am typing this on it.

I’ve been waiting & searching to purchase a laptop of my liking until this type of laptop from LG came out. I purchased it without hesitation when it was on sale. Been enjoying using it, loved the LG screen.

Big screen and very light laptop. The display is high resolution with beautiful color and brightness. The performance is just enough to everyone in daily work and light gaming.

This computer is excellent for school. Its fats and reliable. Has a large amonut of space. Its slim. The color is Great too. Lastly, its a Great multitasking. Great Computer overall!

I'm happy with my LG 17" laptop. It does what I want it to do -- internet, word processing (Word Perfect & Word, which I bought separately), photos (downloading from camera, editing, and uploading elsewhere), emailing, Zoom, printing, scanning -- and does it all with acceptable reliability, speed, and accuracy. I don't game, nor have I yet tried to use this computer for recording or copying audio. So I'm not evaluating my LG for those purposes or for battery life -- I keep it plugged in.

Product is great. What a difference from the older laptop. Setup was very quick and easy. Computer and applications open up in about a minute. There are some reviews that mention sound quality, but since not a gamer, I think these speakers are just fine. Huge improvement from what I was running on. The only thing taking a little longer to get used to is the keyboard configuration and the different. Purchased a Geek Squad Excellent Verified open box, and it is what they say, just like new, and the warranty is the same as new. My only complaint was the customer service I received, save that for a different day.

Short learning curve and very easy to use with all the bells and whistles. Beautiful sharp bright 17" screen. I love it!

This LG Ultra PC is outstanding in many ways. It is fast, quiet, clear screen, and many more great features. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

Love my new laptop! The battery last longer than anyone I have ever had. The Keyboard does take a little getting used to.

So far its a good Laptop. The Picture is great and the speed is good as well. I did have to return the first one I purchased due to a manufactured defect, and the process was not that great on BestBuy's part. They would not send me a new one and let me ship the first one back. Not because they didn't have any in stock, but because they were "saving those for new orders". I had to Order another one and wait for it to arrive and then go return the first one at the store. Very poor return operations. The Computer is good though.

Spent hours researching laptops. It was important to have a nice size screen and still be lightweight. This one was a winner. Works great!

Great battery, nice size. keyboard is bit awkward, so need to test for ew weeks to see if i get used to it.
