Overall it has been a great monitor, with good HDR. I have to dock a few points overall for not great contrast and streaking in super dark scenes. I've also noticed that I get some random white flickers when I'm viewing HDR content full screen. Attempted a firmware update for the monitor, but the process provided by LG didn't work.

Love this gaming monitor. Havent had it very long but for the money it is more then worth it.

One of the best 1440p QHD IPS monitors, especially if you can get it on sale. Overall, the 165 Hz refresh rate is plenty adequate for non-competitive games, the colors are accurate and vivid, the screen is bright, it has plenty of inputs/outputs, and an easy to use UI menu. My only gripe is that the first monitor I purchased had some really bad backlight bleed. The second monitor was much better, but still has a small area on the lower edge that is only noticeable during dark scenes. I would give it a 4.5 if able.

This monitor is awesome. Easily the best monitor I have ever owned. Two of my friends even bought one after seeing mine in action. The picture quality is amazing, and the adaptive sync has worked great with the Nvidia GPU I had when I bought it, and now my AMD gpu.

So I have never considered myself a gamer, more someone who enjoys the occasional game. When I selected a monitor it was the largest screen at the best price with a resolution I liked. I then found when I would game I could spend a few hours starring at that screen and it was always ok, just what I knew. Then along came this LG and wow were my eyes opened. The screen is not only smoother and colors more vibrant, but am also not experiencing the eye fatigue I used to. I then have also noticed that my video card is actually handling the graphics at higher frame rates with the new screen as well. I wish I were technical enough for that to make sense, but on my GeForce 2070 it is running cooler and with higher FPS than before on the same resolution.

This monitor is stunning. I spent so many hours going back and forth on a few different models, and landed on this one. I was concerned with the “gray” blacks, etc, but speaking just from use for gaming, there are no issues at all. I upgraded from a budget 1080p IPS display and the vibrance and colors on this one just blow my old display out of the water. Can’t go back to regular IPS and 1080p after using this monitor. All that said, I did get this on a sale for $350. I’m not sure if I would have gone with this model at its current MSRP of $450.

Solid monitor has a nice picture, the HDR could be better but if i was going for HDR id get a samsung. This is a solid gaming monitor. Only other con is no speakers. Absolutely stupid. $350+ monitor and no speakers? Insane. There is so much room on the back of the monitor for built in speakers. I thought there was cause there is a little round surface on the back with some meshed out spots literally ready for speakers and nothing, meanwhile when you go to check out theyre going to recommend you buy the little sound bar that matches to go with it and its a little pricey but i play with headphones 50% of the time so i can look past it sucks for tv though

This is a great monitor for the price. The screen, color, and refresh rate are all amazing. The only negative is the stand for the monitor is huge and heavy.

This monitor works really great, and I honestly have no complaints about the performance. I did end up retunring this because the base is too large for my space, but that was my fault for not looking at the dimensions first. If you have a small desk, I would say to try to find a monitor with a smaller base, but otherwise, the graphics are amazing, the refresh rate is super high, and it’s overall a very nice monitor.
