I bought this monitor for the matte finish, and it does not disappoint on that front. But if you do a lot of coding, the monitor does not tell you when to do a pixel/panel refresh unlike other monitors in the space. Will be attempting to use BB's warranty to get a different monitor.

The monitor also states it is GSync compatible, but in Nvidia control panel, the display shows up as not certified. For the price, you'd expect a better finished product.

First and foremost, I want to acknowledge that the peak brightness issue you're experiencing is a major concern. 600 nits is not even close to the advertised level of brightness, and it's clear that this is affecting your viewing experience.
