A nice 32" monitor.
The Samsung Odyssey G8 is undeniably a strong gaming monitor, boasting 4K UHD resolution, a smooth 240Hz refresh rate, and vibrant QD-OLED visuals. The deep blacks and crisp whites make for an impressive viewing experience. That said, it’s pretty straightforward—it gets the job done without offering much beyond its core specs. One small gripe I have is with the power cable; it just doesn’t seem to plug in all the way, even when fully secured. Weird, right?

Samsung Delivers Again on a High End Monitor!
PROS: - Unboxing this, I was immediately impressed with how thin the monitor is. Of course, with it being OLED you would expect that but it’s really impressive! - The monitor is super easy to set up but you can use the arm mount that is included or mount it to a third party bracket. - Once hooked up to your computer, I was amazed at the picture quality. It has a no glare screen with 4K OLED clarity. You can easily see every color that pops and the blacks are deep! Samsung also included OLED safeguard technology to help with burn in which means you can have this monitor a long time. - The 240Hz refresh rate on the screen is the true game changer as it makes everything super smooth but along with making sure you have a competitive advantage when online gaming! - Another super cool feature is its back of the panel lighting system. It syncs with your screen to project what you are doing on the screen onto your backdrop and it really adds some incredible pop! CONS: - I do wish this has a Thunderbolt / USB-C connector plugin. BOTTOM LINE: - Samsung really delivered with their new Odyssey OLED G8. It’s a massive screen with incredible 4K OLED picture quality. It’s smooth and fast, and makes it a joy to use for gaming, content creation, or even work. This monitor can do it all and looks super sleek while doing so!

The lack of built-in audio is truly my only real gripe. Pros: Vivid Visuals: The 4K QD-OLED screen delivers vibrant colors and true blacks, with 99% DCI-P3 coverage. The 1000-nit HDR makes everything look cinematic, rivaling my 77" OLED TV. Silky Smooth: The 240Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro keep gameplay seamless, with no tearing.
