Needed a 4k blueray player since i upgraded to a 4k projector and works good so far! There are no apps like Netflix and Hulu but not needed since i use other devices for that. Also, no internet is needed unless you want to update firmware and access blueray live content.

This LG 4K Blu Ray player is just like my regular Blu Ray player. The homescreen/menu is the same and the remote is the exact same. I don't need a wi-fi connected player because of the smart tv, but I would have liked to have a better homescreen and the remote could stand to be upgraded. But the player itself works as it should!

You put a disc in, and it plays it without thinking about it for 30 seconds. You don't have to cycle through menus. It doesn't want my wifi password. It doesn't ask to update every 30 days. It also has a beautiful picture with both DVDs and blu-ray. Completely satisfied.

Basic DVD player not suitable for streaming. If you are looking for a basic DVD Player this probably will suit your needs. It was easy to install and use. The picture quality is great and I got it on sale with a $60 gift certificate and wound up spending less than $30.

I have had this 4k blu ray player since 12/5/17. It is awesome. The picture is so deep. It even make Blu-rays and regular DVD's looks better. I was blown away at the quality of other disks. I was reluctant to buy it, since I have so many dvd players but, this is worth the buy.

I wanted to a nice but not expensive 4K player that was cheaper than the Xbox One S and I am happy with what I found. Has no apps just does blu-ray which is great for me.

Easy to set up exceptional picture quality satisfied

This is bare bones as far as options/menus go, but loads really quickly and outputs great when playing 4K and blu-ray. This is my first 4K player, I wanted to test the format before spending a ton of money. I will be using this player until it dies. Great deal.

This machine does everything you need to play 4k or 3d blu rays, DVDs, and CDs. It has no bells and whistles like Wi Fi or dedicated audio HDMI but you don't need those to enjoy quality video. It has only one HDMI and a optical audio out; no real problem. The remote is irritatingly small and weak, but it works.

Great clarity, ease of use, great picture and sound

This 4k BluRay Player is excellent. I already have apps on another streaming box and a smart TV so this was perfect to get high quality 4K HDR movies from disc and also a 1080p Blu-Ray player (which I didn't have either) without all the extra cost and fluff of software.

This 4K Ultra HD Blue Ray player is fantastic. Although it has 3d capability, I don't use it. However, I bought it for the blue ray and the 4K HD function which it works very nicely. Great quality at a great price. BB was running a sale on it so I snatched it up.

I bought this mainly for use with 3D Blu Rays. No wifi so it won’t automatically install an update that will render your device useless. If you’re looking for something that you can just insert the disc and watch the movie, this is the player for you. If you want a bunch of gizmos, get something else.

I recently purchased this player and am happy I did. Does a great job playing not only my Blu-ray discs but also my DVD and CDs as well. It is a pretty basic player as it has no frills such as streaming ability but I do not need those as my TV does all that.

I bought this play DVD's, Blu Ray's, and 4k Blu Ray's. It plays all three flawlessly. It does not include all the fancy bells and whistles which I do not need in a Blu Ray Player. It suits my needs, and if all you need is to play discs it will fulfill your needs too.

Just bought this LG 4K Blue Ray DVD player. The picture is awesome, even the regular Blue Ray movies look great.

Got a 4K OLED TV recently and spent a lot of time researching blu-ray players. This was a great balance of features and cost (though be warned, it has no Wi-Fi). 4K and HDR content is processed beautifully, and the upconversion on non-4K content is pretty great!

It doesn't have wifi built in but I have a smart 4k tv and if you need a 4k player chances are you have one too. Loads fast, plays smoothly and at a fraction of the cost of other players that don't play 3d movies as well. Very happy with this purchase.

I’ve been looking for a player that can play international releases and so far, so good. More than that, I never had an actual player due to using the PS3 or PS4. The upscaling, streaming, tighter frames, no clipping so far, et al is a nice plus. I’m converted.

My LG - UP875 4K Ultra HD 3D Blu-ray Player is the best Blue Ray player I have ever owned. It produces vivid colors and a super clear picture. Add this to the fact that it wasn't as expensive as many other Blue Ray players and the result is unbeatable!!!
