I'll start with all the bad features: it's big and... That's as close to a bad a feature I can come up with. The second screen, which some laugh at, is great! Think of it as a configuable set of widgets that shows favorite contacts, today's agenda, music control, favorite apps, and running apps (easy switching and closing). And imagine this set of widgets always being available - from the home screen or in an app. And when the screen is off it still shows the time so you don't have to turn it on. Plus to save battery just turn the phone over and the second screen turns off. Great feature set. Main display is great - bright and crisp. Never an issue reading it outdoors or in. Note the main display and second are really the same hardware. Fingerprint scanner works great until you put some cases on, but T-mobile and Verizon have already pushed updates which solves the issue. Scanner works 98‰ of the time on the first try now with a case on. Oh and it's fast - so much faster than my rooted S3. Thanks to 4GB of system memory and 64 of app memory. Add an SD card and this is a beast! Nothing bad to say about LG launcher either. Some nice features. No plans to install Nova my go to launcher or Google launcher. Sound - music, speakerphone, calls all are great. Have not really tested hi Def audio yet, but I have heard it's great. Bluetooth connects everything and is crystal clear. Navigation is great, Gps location so quick! Note that when the phone is horizontal and wearing polarized sunglasses the screen is black - so it must be vertical. Battery life is unbelievable! Even with exchange email, Gps on, Bluetooth on, twitter notifications, etc (no Facebook, not a constant twitter scroller) I am consistently getting 30 to 40 hours between charges with 4 hours of screen time. I can use nav for both ends of my 45 minute commute and still have 55% battery left when go to bed. Right now it's been running 37 hours, almost 4 hours of screen time, and still have 27% or 9 hours left. Just amazing. And they say it's built like a tank. Search for V10 tests on YouTube - guy drops it, puts a lighter to it, scratches display and it passes with flying colors. All in all glad I went with the V10 over the other phones I was looking at - G4, S6, S6+, or Note 5.

The LG V-10 is one of the best premium smart phones ever. If you're ready to upgrade your phone, check this one out. With 8 processor cores zipping and the 4k screen dazzling, I still get 4 days of battery stand-by power with the phone just sitting, and about 10 hours of battery life with high usage. The battery is replaceable and the phone's memory can be expanded by 2 terabytes. The thing I love the most about this phone is that it has NO side buttons to screw you up. It takes awesome pictures and video (4K) with little fuss. It has a fingerprint scanner for security and very quick unlocking, (usage is optional). If you were to make a list of all the features you would want in a smart phone, and then compare it to the LG V-10, you would discover that your list had been greatly exceeded. Other cellular phones are mere shadows by comparison. ---Get it or regret it---

I have had the phone for about 30 days now and it really has changed my opinion of the larger phones. I lost my S6 (non-edge) and had to figure out a replacement and the 2-year renewal price on the V10 was good. The experience has been great. It's the last flagship phone to have a removable back / replaceable battery / microSD slot, which were all selling points for me. LG had a promo that sent you a free second battery, free standalone charging cradle, and a free 64gb microSD card which all just came a few days ago (about 30 days from submission). The camera on this thing is great! Great pics in both low light and bright situations. You can double-tap the volume down button for a quick photo from a non-logged-in phone state. The two cameras on the front (screen side) are awesome, one is for wider angle selfies without needing a selfie stick. It took a while to get used to the fact that the volume up and down buttons are located on the back just above and below the fingerprint sensor / power button because I have been so used to them being on the side. That's not too big of a deal, but activating the screen was kind of weird because if you put a case on this phone (which I did) it takes a while to adjust to the location of the buttons by feel. But once I realized all I had to do was double-tap the screen to turn the screen on or off, I rarely use the fingerprint button for that function. The small screen at the top right is handy for seeing the time and message notifications without the screen being on, and also for setting up quick functions like the flashlight by swiping right to left on it instead of logging into the phone. Battery life has been pretty good and I can typically go a full day with my type of usage without having to charge it. The rapid charging that is part of the original ac adapter charges from dead to 100% in about 45-60 minutes. Not a bunch of bloatware with the 5.1.1 android it shipped with and with 4gb of RAM, applications fly without any lag whatsoever. Connects to my TP-LINK AC1750 router on 5ghz with no issues and plays heavy duty video files streaming from my NAS device really well. Screen brightness when set to auto-adjust can be too dim or too bright at times, so I usually leave it on manual and set it to about 35% brightness, then adjust as needed. I got a Spigen kickstand slim armor case for it and it has not added much size or weight to it. The speaker when playing YouTube or multimedia is adequate, but cannot get nearly as loud as my S6 did without boosting through software. Overall I would have to say it is by far the best smartphone I've owned and I have owned all of the Galaxy S series up to the 6, but have never wanted the massive screen of the Note. This is a nice compromise and works really well without any power/reboot/freezing issues yet whatsoever. Would definitely recommend this phone to anyone!

I've had this phone for (only) 2 days. Impressions, so far, are positive. I absolutely LOVE my Note 4, but BB was offering a great deal on this no-contract LG V10. I purchased it with the intent to either resell or give to a family member. If the next few days are as impressive as the past 2, I think I will be keeping the phone for myself. My main issue with the Samsung Note 4 is the radio. I get intermittent 4g/3g/1x - constantly cycling through until I get a usuable connection. Voice call signal is usually fine, but has some connectivity issues, too. I live in a very rural area, so Verizon service can be hit-or-miss which I am aware of. However, the LG V10 has gotten full 4g and at least 2 signal strength bars everywhere the Note 4 could not. This is huge to me and will be the reason I use this phone as my daily driver. Other pros: fingerprint scanner works 100% of the time double tap to sleep/wake beautiful screen on par with Note 4 camera is fantastic LG keyboard is great (haven't needed to switch back to SwiftKey yet) the second screen is handy volume keys on back of the phone (postive & negative) military-grade durability rating CONS: bootloop problems that seem to affect quite a few phones I have to search around for the volume keys - my fingers never go right to them, but I DO like having them on the back battery seems just ok - not yet sure I can make it through a full day stainless steel sides give the grip a slippery feeling gets warm to the touch on back around the camera lens I settled with a 4-star rating due to the bootloop issue. I checked my phone manufacture date and it is October 2015. If blogs & forums are to be trusted, the October 2015 phones are the ones with problems. I'm surprised that a phone I purchased in December 2016 was manufactured over a year ago. According to some, a tell-tale sign that a V10 will have a problem is the heat around the camera, due to an issue with the chip in that general area. I really thought I would have gone back to my Note 4 already, but I am having a great time learning about and using the V10. I'll try to return to this review and update after some time has passed. In regards to shipping and purchase, it was seamless as usual through BB online.

Although I also recommend purchasing a GLASS screen cover because the factory is plastic (but comes with a long guarantee against breakage, it does micro scratch EASILY without a cover) - I used the YooTech tempered glass, highly recommended). The phone itself is very fast, good looking and great feel (easily scratched the plastic while phone was in front pocket) - but battery life is barely a full day with medium use, later afternoon with my normal use. It did come with a swappable battery and it charges uber fast so it isn't enough for me to ding the phone from excellent - it is. Great memory on phone for operating system, great storage both from factory 64G but also the micro sim to take it to 256G (way more than I'll need on a phone - even loaded with movies for international travel its nearly TOO MUCH memory!).

I've owned 4 droid phones. I had the first Eris and have been a fan since. I just recently had a Note 3 and I was planning on buying the s6 edge until I realized that Samsung ruined the phone by removing removable batteries and expandable memory as features. So I did my research and found this phone. I was skeptical at the use of the slower cpu, but in the end it saves battery and creates much less heat at a very negligible speed difference. The camera is amazing. Manual features make for some of the best photo's I've ever taken on a phone. I've barely even used the flash. The 60 fps recording is so smooth you won't believe it. The second screen is great for music controls and quick links and I'm hoping for a few more implementations to it in future updates. The battery is great and I received a free 200gb sd card with my purchase(along with Best Buy giving me a free LG tv). Even without that bonus it's the best phone I've had and the OS is much smoother and less cluttered than TouchWiz from Samsung or Motorola's system. Excellent phone and I'm going to buy more LG product in the future now. Looking at you 4k 3d OLED tv.

First off I'd like to say check lg's website. They have been running one type of battery/charger/memory promotion, for the last few months. It's a free bonus to purchasing this phone. This phone has a nice feel to it for such a large phone. I didn't load it up with lots of programs that need to check the web constantly like Facebook. Been checking that from Chrome browser. So the battery easily lasts more than a day. It has a great camera. Took some family pictures with multiple people. When I cropped them for individual people and printed them, they came out great. It also has two front facing cameras. One is wide angle making a selfie stick obsolete, if you're into that. It has a lot of features my old phone (htc1) didn't have. Knock to wake phone, and fingerprint sensor are my two favorites. I recommend searching YouTube for lg v10 videos. There are lots of them that really do a good job of showcasing the functions of this phone and introduce you to features you may never discover on your own. Probably easier to tell you what I'm not as pleased about than to explain all the pluses. These are not deal breakers for me and why I gave this 4 stars, but here goes. The fingerprint sensor is a little fussy you may have to make several attempts. Also the swipe to type picks a lot of wrong words for me. I may have been spoiled by HTC on that feature. Going to make a more precise effort to see if that improves. This is the best phone I've had in quite awhile. This is a premium product at a non premium price.

I previously owned the LG G2 and my wife owns the LG G4, this phone stacks up with the best of them. Extremely quick, customizable, and the 2nd screen is pretty nice. I always put a case on my phones but the feel of this phone without a case is nice, with the metal edges and studded back. I'm a fan of removable batteries and SD cards, so that is a plus. LG is providing innovative phones. I highly recommend any LG phone, as my experiences have been nothing short of spectacular.

The V10 is a great mobile device. The processor speeds are top notch and image quality is better than hope for. I previously owned the G3 and wished for a bigger screen, the V10 has it. Its not as wide as the Note 5 so being a large phone it fits comfortably in my hands although some two handed operation is as expected. I was worried about battery life, but it easily last throughout the day, but extremely heavy use will need an evening charge (by 7pm I am at 45%). Found a great wireless charging battery cover and doc on Amazon for under $30.

This is my first BIG phone. I was iffy about purchasing it, solely on it's size, but I have no regrets. Even if the size issue is holding you back, it has a mode that makes the screen smaller so you can use it with just one hand. The phone has removable storage and a removable battery, which is great and VERY rare in phones now and days. The camera quality, both picture and video, is amazing! No complaints about this phone. I see it lasting for a long time (unless I do something to mess it up)

I have always used the Note line from Samsung but wanted a change. After seeing reviews on the camera capability from the LG-V10 I decided to jump ship and see what all the hype was about. Boy was I impressed! Not only was the camera impressive but the amount of storage and the fact you can remove the battery... both were huge sellers for me.

Make no mistakes, this phone is LARGE! If you have small hands, look elsewhere. I had an LG Optimus Elite for years! It's taken a little while to get used to the size, but with size comes some advantages 1 Easier to see (getting older!) 2 Easier to use the touchscreen. Never could use the screen on the smaller phone very well. (see getting older) I haven't taken many photos yet, but the resolution is awesome! The battery life is great, but I'm not a kid playing games, chatting and running apps all day. I use it as a phone with useable applications. The Android 5.1.1 O/S is easy to use, runs the apps that I want much better than those on my old phone. I don't upgrade every time someone sneezes, but this was worth it.

One of the troubling things about smart phones now a days is that they aren't built to last. Sealed in batteries.. limited storage, and loads of cruddy software you didn't ask to be put on the phone. LG kept in mind keeping these wonderful features and did it without having any cruddy extras. Thank goodness for a phone that can still support, removable battery, wireless charging, NFC, etc.. This phone really is one without compromise. The way android power users would want their phone. Thank you LG. Please don't follow the bad trends just to feel relevant in the smart phone wars.

I have been a Samsung Galaxy user from the first version all the way up to the Note 3. The Note 3 was brilliant in every way and i never has a problem with that phone but when my upgrade came up i decided to go with the V10. This phone does everything and does it well. I have had no problems with software or hardware for that matter. The video, sound and call quality are all excellent. The phone is fast even with the 808 chip still being used. The phone is a little on the heavy side but not unbearable and you get used to it quickly. This is a great phone!

After the Samsung Note 4, I was disappointed that Samsung decided to drop their loyal customer base, by forgetting to include an SD card, removable battery, and an ir blaster in their latest iteration, I figured it was time to move on. By all accounts this phone is better, and faster than the note 4, and has everything Samsung forgot and then some. This is the real successor in the Note series.

I upgraded from a Galaxy S4. I was sad to leave Samsung, but they left me no choice when they stopped supporting SD cards. Now I'll never look back. This phone has it all: SD card, removable battery, great camera, and even some of the nice-to-have but unnecessary features like an IR blaster. The button placement and sheer enormity of the phone take a little getting used to (and some new equipment to accommodate it), the second screen feels gimmicky, and the fingerprint reader is hit or miss, but the battery life is much better than any smartphone I've owned before.

This phone turned out to be one of the greatest decisions I made, it's extremely fast (mainly on my Mobile Data[Verizon] not so much on my WIfi). It has a very vivid and responsive screen, which makes great for watching videos and taking pictures. The camera is outstanding as well, especially when in manual mode. Also, the little screen up top is handy.

This was an upgrade for my wife. The camera is amazing. Honestly it's on par with our DSLR in certain light. That's pretty amazing for a phone. Fingerprint reader is hit or miss which is odd since it's LG. Great clear screen, and split screen which is cool. Definitely a phablet, but worth the extra size good the camera.
