Excellent camera and bright screen.
Only thing I hate is the LG ecosystem/apps. A bit sluggish in performance if you compare it with Samsung S7/S7 edge.

I previously had a Samsung Galaxy S6. I liked the phone but the battery life was atrocious. I read all the reviews about the LG V20 saying that battery life wasn't good and I don't know what they're talking about. This battery lasts twice as long as my Samsung ever did.
I love this phone! It even has an option to quickly shrink the screen for one handed use if needed.

Let me start with saying... I have always been a samsung fan. I had to return my note 7 due to the national recall. I decided on the lg v20 bc of the camera and space capacity. Once i got this phone i noticed a difference from the samsung community to the Lg community. There is no wallpaper or lg site specific to download from vs samsung. So thats a downfall. The camera whas potential, however i am not a camera pro so doing manual shots with having to adjust lighting contrast and focus is time consuming. The auto photos dont always turn out as planned. Finding apps is. Not user friendly either. I have to add tbem to folders to find thrm. I solely bought this phone to hold me over until the samsung 8 or note 8 is released. I am praying that happens sooner than later.
The battery life does last on this phone. The phone hasnt gotten hot or caught on fire so thats a plus. But if it were up to me i would take my chances with my note 7

After the Note 7 fiasco, I was looking for my next phone. I researched to the point I knew more about the phones than the sales people (no knock on them), I just wanted to make sure I was making a wise investment. Upon my findings, I purchased the v20. The phone is incredible. The specs and features are second to none. The camera(s) on this phone are amazing. I love the wide angle lens on both the rear and front facing camera. I love taking photos and this was a function the iPhone fails to offer (yet again).
Now for the downfall....the battery. Maybe it was a defective phone, who knows, but my phone would only charge to 92% every single time I charged it. I returned to Best Buy and had the chance to exchange it, but I passed due to the fact this was a new phone, I was already having issues with it, and LG has been known to have issues with their phones. I then settled for the iPhone 7+. I chose to go with a more trusted brand.

Overall this phone is great. I will tell you what i dont like about it and why its 4 stars to me. For it having a heavy duty body. Its glass isnt on par with it. I watched drop test on it where they dropped the phone face first about 5 times going up on height 7'5" being the highest. It broke on the first time it slipped put of my pocket. It fell face first probably a foot and a half and cracked. Also some times the pictures look like it was over processed. Kind of annoying. Since it came out after the s7. I still prefer the pictures taken from my wifes s7. Although the video recording and audio quality with the headphone jack is awesome. This is what made ne keep the review at 4 stars. I think the quad dac is a must hear. You do need quality headphones. It wont make a 10.00 rca spund like a pair of bose.

I was very disappointed in Samsung and the whole Note 7 debacle. That phone was awesome and I wish I still had it. Life is life though and this phone has been an amazing replacement for the Note 7. The power of the phone is equal to the Note 7 and the camera is superior in every way. This phone is a great replacement!

I love this phone except one giant bug... every 3 weeks or so since I purchased, The lock/unlock button has stopped working all together. The finger print scanner works but the button to turn it on and off will not work and the only way I can fix it is to completely factory restore my phone.... not something I should have to do at all, let alone once a month since I've gotten it, and this phone is barely 2 months old, other than that I really do love the phone more than I ever have an apple or Samsung device.

I think the v20 is a great phone. I love the size and the new Android system is great. The only problem I'm having is I can't get AT&T video calls to work. Other than that flawless.

The phone is great and the camera is very good but it just wasn't my Note 7. The talk to text works very well. The fingerprint scanner on back is very good but it took a while to get used to. It's weird but the phone is a little longer for my taste. It's still a great phone maybe for somebody with bigger hands. It was hard for me to drop down the menu with one hand. But overall still a great phone.

I like this phone, but it takes some getting use too. The note 7 was better and I feel like Samsung has a few better options in there phones than the LG V20.

Great Phone - Short Battery Life

I really love this phone. The second wide angle camera is a great feature. The only drawback is the short battery life. If you do not use android pay or any similar app. Turn of the NFC. Its seems to help the battery life somewhat. If it was not for the short battery life, I would rate a 5 for sure.
