Such a good movie already, the 3D is a great enhancement! At this price point you won't see a better 3D flick

Movie was interesting, and the lead actor did a very convincing job of being a lone survivor. CGI was excellent, photography was very well done as was the 3D cinematography.

Maybe not my all-time best picture winner, but the story is worth watching. This is not a true 4K movie (rendered in 2K), but the HDR picture quality is still great.

PQ This was actually a blind buy for me. I really wanted to watch it when it was in theater. All I can say is that it was one of the best PQ i've seen on the blu. The filming and cgi set this up to be a great BD transfer and it certainly didn't disappoint. Even at the start before a lot of the cgi and adventure started I though the scenes in India were shot really well. But man when the adventure started it was on a whole new level, especially the night scenes. Among the night scenes that really stuck out in my mind were the scenes with the boat sinking, the plankton lighting up the ocean, the whale jumping out of the ocean, and the environment of the island at night. All those scenes and the rest of the film had very top notch PQ. AQ Couldn't have been much better. It definitely gave you the feel like you were out there on the ocean with Pi and had Richard Parker right there with you. Movie Definitely a deserving candidate for best picture of the year. I thought the filming, directing, acting, and writing were all very good. It's hard to explain the story without spoilers, so I won't get into that. I highly recommend this film to anyone who is looking for a great adventure and story.

A big part of the beauty of this movie is the images. Waited to get this in 4k and it was worth it!

Life of Pi is one of my favorites! And with it being in 4K just made the experience way better!

The story line is great plus the graphics on a 4K tv and disc just awesome we’ll recommend to own

Collectors and casuals alike need to view this on 4K you will never go back once you do.

You must buy this movie if you own a 4K Ultra HD player. The image looks outstanding!
