Daughter wanted another case for her phone she picked this one and she still needs to change her case to this one.

Great durability and coverage however bulky and restrictions to screen and typing pretty pricey as well.

Slightly overpriced. at $79 plus tax. I can have my phone replaced via insurance for only $100.

This case gives you max protection but it is bulky.

Seems fine but haven't had it long enough to determine how effective it is for being waterproof. Not bulky, just adds a little weight to the phone but the plug in flap is too hard to open. 12 year old daughter keeps using her teeth to do this. A mothers nightmare!

This is an outstanding well built case! The overall weight is excellent also! I would definitely recommend to others!

I might try this case again, but on the Galaxy S4, the piece that seals on the bottom makes it difficult to press menu and back buttons.

I've been waiting for a Lifeproof case for my Samsung Galaxy S4 for almost a year and now that it's here, it's definitely worth the wait. Of course, you'll be paying a premium for the case, but it's a small price to pay in comparison to paying full price to replace your broken smartphone. Currently, there are 2 types available - FRE and NUUD - with the differences between them include having a built in screen protector on the FRE while the NUUD is screenless, and the NUUD case design is newer than the FRE case. Whichever one you get is personal preference, as both does the same job. The case comes equipped with a waterproof headphone adapter, front and back pieces of the case, and a blue plastic container for water testing. I did the water test on my phone and it passed. PROS: -Waterproof up to 6.6ft, shockproof -Easy installation -Great design - clear back showcases your phone's original color; case is two parts - the back cover is rubberized with a transparent back while the front cover is hard plastic. -Build quality - superb, does not add much bulk to phone, front cover is raised, so the screen is recessed and does not touch the surface when placed flat on a table, giving it some protection. There is a rubber screw that plugs into the headphone jack and is secured to case with a rubber strap, so you won't lose it. CONS: -Speaker volume sounds as if a thin cloth is placed on top of it -Call quality - can hear the other person clearly, but the person on the other end hears you a bit muffled. While using the phone, you need to decrease volume one notch from maximum or else the voice you hear will be distorted, but on speaker there is no voice distortion when volume is on max. If person on other end still can't hear you clearly, just open the charging port of your case as some people report it helps. -Expensive While the case has some benefits, there are still some disadvantages that come with any waterproof case. Overall, this is a great buy if you need an all-around protection.

The cover is great... If you don't make phone calls. I had problems hearing those I was speaking to and they couldn't hear me. That's a problem. I want a heavy duty case, but I want to be able to use phone for its intended use. How is it that iPhone users dont have this problem but we do. Sorry, Lifeproof, try again

The cover for the charge port did break and we will be bringing it back.
