Lifeproof used to make good cases but not so sure anymore. I got sick of the amount of dust getting under the screen from the other lifeproof case so i bought the fre this time which cost alot more them the case with the built in screen protector. Unlike the cheeper case that had a nice grip to it this one is a very hard and slippery plastic, it has nice protection but with the fre unlike the other case no one can hear me on speaker phone and can barley hear me if i talk directly into the phone. If i open the charge port door they can hear me a bit better but not by much. I have to say keep away from this case.

Great case. Very sturdy and keeps a great seal to prevent dust and water to enter. The rubber casing gets chipped very easily and the casing around the home button is a little to bulky... warranty is great and the case keeps my phone very safe from the elements. A little pricy as well but overall a great case.

I've had I Phones 4 up to 8S and each one I used Lifeproof. I like it because it's not too bulky and protects very well. I prefer the Nuud version because I like to buy the HD Screen protector myself. I have been using these cases for years now and it's the perfect case.

Life Proof cases are awesome. I don't have to worry about my phone getting wet or broken. They have a built in screen protector so 1 less thing to buy and worry about. Warranty is great and it has a slim design.

protection is great style looks good, but its very slick and has no grip

the issue of the case is that it does muzzle the sound a bit as well your your voice when talking on the phone for that reason I highly recommended pairing it with wireless headphones when purchasing this case. other than these issues it is a well built case that can hold lots of impact because it was truly test all ready.

It’s a great case I normally go for flip cases to protect my screen and phone in general but this case protects my phone and isn’t bulky it’s perfect

I prefer this model over the Fre because of the ability to still actually touch the glass screen. Only downside is that the back casing is a little “slick” and I would much prefer it to have a “tacky/sticky” feeling for better grip.

Nice case, protective, attractive, but according to my friends, my voice sounded like it was muffled. I purchased a different style case and did not have any issues after that.

This case gives you 100% protection from damage. But it also has a huge downfall when it comes to the speaker quality because of the waterproof tight case.

Great case looks good but the only downside is that you cant hear very well from the speakers of the iPhone which is a big downside to this case out of everything else.

Nice case but.... voice and sound muffled. Not too sturdy, phone dropped few times and top left edge of case has chipped off.

I love and hate this case at the same time. It’s a solid 5 stars for durability and protecting the phone, but it’s a 2 for sound quality. I read other reviews that said the same thing but thought surely they were exaggerating! Unfortunately, they weren’t. No one can hear me unless I’m on speaker and music is not worth listening to any higher than low with the vibrating sound. So, I’m now forced to wear my headphones or ear piece to talk on the phone and use headphones or connect to a Bluetooth speaker to listen to music. Shouldn’t be an either / or situation for the cost.

Love the quality of the case. The sound of the phone is hurt by the waterproofing. Not sure this is necessary if using in fresh water. Definitely can see benefits from using around salt water.

Great case... lives up to its name. Only downside is it’s a little hard for others to hear me, as I have a screen protector on the phone as well (for extra protection)

Bought a SPECK case but wasn’t comfortable with it being open where you plug charger in. This is closed in, has a color (that you choose from the selections) on the front & the back is clear so you can see the color of your IPhone 8Plus. My phone is red & It goes good with this case.

The product is great. Exactly what they advertise but it leaves a bit more to be desired for every day use. Really muffles the speakers.

This is an excellent case if you are hard on phones. However, it doesn’t work with a glass screen protector due to the rubber seals under the faceplate, which you don’t need anyway due to the case being raised off the phone screen for extra drop protection.
