The case is esthetically pleasing, however it does make the phone considerably wider in hand, and is wider than some other cases, for example the otter box “statement” Back of case scratches very easily, it’s never been dropped or put in my pocket with keys, change exc. and it’s scrathed up. And it’s only a couple days old. The cover on the charge access port is flimsy and does not swing out of the way as previous life proof cases. This model it kinda bends out of the way. This will not hold up against heavy use. And after a couple days the plastic cover is showing signs of fatigue. Granted the IPhone X has Qi charging or induction charging. So maybe when designing the case they figured the port would not be used often.? But for me I use a cable most often, so I do not expect this case to last long at all. And for this reason I’m tempted to get my money back.

I've always used Otterbox Defenders, which are considerably chunky. I thought I'd try something a little slimmer. I was really impressed with this case at first. For four months my phone was protected from drops and I like the accuracy of the touch with just the glass protector instead of a full plastic piece like the Defender. However, I'm only giving it 2 stars because after four months the inside rubber band has started separating. For an $80 case I expected a lot more. Otter box lasts forever. I sent Life Proof and email about the issue but have yest to get a response.

I have always loved life proof cases for my iPhones and have felt this case truly protected my iPhone X. I am pretty careful with my phones, and after less than 6 months the rubber is already coming detached from the edges. This is very disappointing as I feel this takes away some of the protective properties of this case. Overall a fair case, but upset at the quality and how it has not held up over a short time period

I’m very happy with the fact that this case protects my phone when it falls. However, the rubber on the sides is coming off and stretching in MULTIPLE areas. Also, I put a cardholder attachment on the back of the case, and when I removed it, all the sticky residue stayed on the case. Now I can’t take off the wallet attachment without the case sticking to everything. Besides those two inconveniences, I like the case.

I bought this case for my new iphone X and was really excited because i loved the design and the color (coral) but when i received my product there was a piece missing that is used to take off the case, and as soon as i got it on the rubber pieces started falling off. The ones around the inside of the screen, and the outside. there are multiple places it is coming off and becoming really annoying. For the money i paid, i’m not as impressed as i thought I would be and will be returning it.

I liked this case for about eight months then it began to essentially disintegrate? At first I didn’t think much of it but it just keeps going. Small chunks of rubber easily fall off the sides leaving gouges in the case. My ringer button is exposed as the rubber is completely fallen off of it. It’s to the point where the rubber just seems brittle and for a hundred dollar case I would not expect that? Now I’m worried because I don’t know if I registered it? I bought it from T mobile and I’m sure they have all the records of my purchase I’m not sure now how to go about rectifying the problem if that is even an option. I think I’ve had the case now for just over a year I believe. I’ve seen mixed responses pertaining to the warranty. I thought upon purchase it was warrantied for the life of the phone is this true? If it’s not that we’ll definitely be a disappointment seeing that’s the only reason I paid so much for a phone case . So I guess the outcome of this well definitely confirm weather or not I ever buy another one or actually three because at the time I bought mine I also purchased one for my wife and daughter also and they are experiencing the same type of problems and it looks like many others are as well. So life proof can you please let me know what I can do if anything?

I purchased this with a new phone 9/22/18. The case is already peeling. Incidentally it's not available for purchase on the Lifeproof Website, and does not come up as a warranty option. I've sent a message to their customer service (I think, the page blinked and returned to a blank form). All in all I'm not impressed at the moment, but they have taken good care of me in the past. I'm hoping they make this right in time.

Brand new the case looks great slim, sleek, however the rubber edges on the phone start to come off within a couple of months, and not from any crazy use or anything just normal everyday use, putting the phone into your pocket and taking it out to use it once in a while. For an $80 case you would hope it would be a little more sturdy than that, and most of Lifeproofs previous cases have been just that just this one seems to be the exception. The warranty program is amazing they're fast and friendly but having to make a claim for a new case every couple months is more trouble than it's worth.

I have been buying LifeProof cases for the longest time, and can't any longer. The rubber side coverings loosened and then came off of the last TWO cases I bought. Each only lasted 3-4 months before the loosening and gapping started. I thought the first one was a fluke and was traveling abroad, so I had to bite the bullet and buy another one before I left. That was late May, and by mid-September I was back in the same boat. SOOOOO disappointed!

I bought this case in February 2018. It’s now July 2018 and I’m on my 3rd case. The rubber that is on the outside edges of the case get hot and stretch. Yes, Lifeproof is great with the warranty but it’s another $6 to ship it to you. So, I paid $80 for the case + $6 + $6. Nah, it’s not worth the trouble! Find another case. Trust me!

Great product when bought brand new. I bought in January of 2018 and now 5 months later the case is falling part. The rubber edge is warped and bubbles all around the phone. The rubber lining in the front has come off. The case has protected my phone from many falls but I do not expose my phone to extreme conditions. No reason for the case to be falling apart. Contacted Lifeproof and I believe they are sending me another one so that is great. Great case but for the price it needs to last longer.

First issue, five months after getting my case the rubber sides started peeling off. It is now at the point where half of the rubber edges are there just flapping. Second issue with this is that on two occasions that my phone accidentally fell/slipped off my hand the case popped open. Stop and think twice before you spend $79.99 on this case!

When I bought my new iphone X a year ago, I had been so happy with my old Lifeproof case for my iphone 6 that I bought my new phone a Lifeproof case, too. However, this case was NOTHING like my old one, which I got years of use from. The NEXT Lifeproof case started to fall apart within 6 months of careful and normal use. The rubber edges stretched out for no reason I could imagine. After calling the company they were great in offering a replacement, however, after another 6 months, the same problem has occurred!! I will be calling them again on Monday, but I'm concerned they will not be as accommodating based on reviews I am reading. Only a free replacement of equal value would be reasonable, considering the cost of the case and the reputation of the company. As of now, I am not a happy customer.

Poor quality at a very expensive price. The pink part of the case bubbled up and came off only 6 months into having it. The case constantly looks dirty as it shows all finger prints/scratches. I expected much more from a LifeProof case and I expect it to last more than 6 months!

I've ALWAYS put Lifeproof cases on all of my Iphones without any problems until now. Got the new X and figured I'd protect my investment with another Lifeproof. Well this case was a severe disappointment... The rubber around the edges has came loose and almost stretch around most of the phone making it nearly impossible to glue it back down. Hopefully this is a defect that Lifeproof has corrected otherwise filing a warranty is useless if the new case is going to do the same!

I loved this when I first bought it. I have have had it for less than six months and all of the rubber around the outside of the case has now come off. I expcted better quality for a case that cost me $80.

I have only had this case for a couple months and the silicone on the side is already bubbling up on the side and falling off. I take good care of my phone so there is no reason this should be happening. At some point, it's going to require me pulling all the silicone off which will then be removing the charging plug cover. Very disappointed for the amount of money I spent on this case it should have lasted longer than 5 months.

I've had my case for roughly 8 months and the side rubber part is coming off. I would not recommend this due to that. For the cost it is not made as well as I expected when I bought it.

I purchased 2 cases for my daughter and me. Both cases had the rubber part fall apart. First, it bubbles around the edges, then peels apart around the whole phone. So disappointed.
