They used to b sturdier and clunky. But I guess with newer phones being more drop resistant it doesn’t need that design anymore. Still e very good case. Dropped my phone a few times now and it protected it☺️

Unfortunately the side “switch” that controls the on/off volume broke. That piece is not made well. Went to take off the case and put back on and that piece broke. I can now no longer turn my volume off. Less than a year old for this case.
