We're sorry to hear you've had some frustration finding a case that works for you. Although the LifeProof SLΛM is one of our slimmer models, this two-piece case should have both a front and a back. Did you perhaps mean that the back is clear?
The face will be open in order to allow for full access to the touchscreen, but it is compatible with tempered glass screen protectors! If you're missing parts, though, give us a call at 1-888-533-0735, and we'd be happy to explore warranty options!

But disappointed with Best Buy. Packaging was dented in several places and the transparent backing had scratches already even though it was not advertised as an open box item.
