I purchased just about EVERY smart color light out there- This is absoloutely the BEST! I used osram, hue, and lifx for my high hats. None responded with the speed or full color like the lifx. Once in a while, lets say 1 every 6 months, I had 1-2 bulbs I had to reconnect via my phone and the app. Other then that they function 100% I use them with the harmony elite remote so as soon as I turn on the tv, certain lights turn off and others dim automatically based on what I set up. Works ever time. Whne I power off, they turn back on to preset color and intensity. This is just a review by one person, but I promise you that I have done hours of research online, and physically tried tons of different brands.. Lifx wins by a landslide. When I got these bulbs I loved them. They worked fantastic and my family thought it was great. Sadly, after a firmware upgrade that you can't say no to was done, the lightbulbs would no longer stay connected to the network. After a month of working with the LIFX support people (I sent videos, ping tests, and network traces) and even replacement of the bulbs I was not able to get the bulbs to work correctly. This is too bad since it is pretty obvious that the issue stemmed from their firmware upgrade, even though they say it is my network issue (which didn't change at all during the month). Until LIFX fixes this network issue, I can't recommend them.

Great color bulb to liven up any room of course. But why I bought this bulb, in particular, is that it just works immediately with your iphone. No hub necessary like with Philips HUE.

Lifx bulbs are awesome! They are bright, pretty colors, easy to use, and they work great with Alexa on my amazon echo and echo dots. I'm buying enough to redo my whole house.

I love these lights , colors are vivid. Lights are brighter than hue, easy to setup and easy to use. If I could I would trade in my Hue Lights to buy more LIFX lights.

I had the hue system. Switched to this. No hub. No glitches. Colors are amazing!!!!! Spent over 1200 on them

This bulb is a good alternative to Philips Hue bulbs which requires a hub for an additional $60. I will say it took a little while for the bulb to sink to Wifi. It will take patience but worth it. The light is fun. It also has a timer option which comes in handy when you are away,

Have 4 of these and they are working really well. Just wish there was a hardware switch for turning it on and off instead of just using the app.

I can't get enough of them. I do like the smaller ones better. If you are going to get into the network Lifex lights, go ahead and spend a little more for the color ones. I just got the IR one, it is Great really helps the night vision camera

The lights are easy to set up, but I wouldn't use them in main areas of the home. I'm using mine to highlight artwork pieces and they work great for it. Other than that, the app is a bit confusing and doesn't seem to have much common sense.

I just love these smart bulbs. They have a good range in colors, you can set to your music so it flashes/dims along with it, or if u feel like an all out raiger you can throw the strobes on. Also if u forgot to turn the lights off or u may want to turn them on before you get home, they r Bluetooth comparable. Great find!

I love color lights, and the ability to switch colors with the swipe of an app is great! I would love to see more options in working with Amazon Echo Dot as I have recently started to control lights with my voice and I feel like a god.

Easy to setup using your smartphone after you download the free app from LIFX follow the steps suggested by the manufacturer and you are ready to control the color and the intensity of the light bulb from any place of your home.

I love this bulb. I think it is such a convenient item. I schedule it to turn on and off. I have different lighting modes for all my moods. Best part is that I can control it from my iPhone and apple watch.

I bought this because of the color choices it can display and it works with smart things. I'm used to the hue Phillips lights but this one requires no hub to connect to internet. Awesome light bulb.

These lights are excellent and work well with Amazon Echo, and my iPhone. I also created an IFTTT account online and all of the lights in my house flash blue when the lightning score a goal!

Little bigger than the others. Using it in a lamp but should be used in a canister. Always connects. Holds in memory. Looks great. Currently stays orange for Halloween.

I had some trouble connecting to my wifi as I put this bulb outside on my garage flood light. It was easily fixed with a wifi extender.
