I blind bought this movie and was pleasantly surprised.. you get reminded of other movies that you may have seen , like the Babadook, Vanish ...ect. Turn off the lights , play through your surround system....enjoy !

While I don't get scared much by movies, I love it when my wife almost flies off the couch from the good scary moments. This one is up there for the gotcha moments. Recommend this movie very much if you like scary

The movie is great very spooky i recomend watching in the dark. After you learn what the movie is about you'll be looking around every dark corner on your place every few minutes or so xD

The movie hits home with that age old fear of something or some one lurking in the dark. Full of creepy effects and tense moments, let's just say I thought twice before switching the lights off that night lol

The movie has a good pace and premise. Some of the scares are really good. It could have been fleshed out a bit more, but it's still better than most horror movies from the last decade.

I wanted to watch this movie in the theaters but never made it. So when I saw it out I decided to buy it. It's not bad at all actually, it's a decent flick. It has it's jumpy moments. It's worth checking out.

I had a feeling the movie was going to be a lame horror film and at the end of the movie i would prob not want to see it again, but i was wrong. good little movie that has some jumps and scares mixed in.

Not a long runtime, but the characters are played very well, the film is shot very well, and has plenty of creepy moments. A good Halloween selection, especially with the PG-13 rating.

Unlike most of today's horror movies that build to one big scare at the end, this was creepy and scary throughout, capitalizing on your fear of the dark. We really enjoyed it and will watch it again!

Loved the movie! Definitely best to watch it with all the lights off...it adds even more unease to the movie bcuz u're on the edge of ur seat waiting to see what's gonna happen in the movie but also kinda freaked out bcuz u now think I hear and see things in the darkness of ur home.

Lights Out is a finely directed horror film that manages to get more creative scares in 70 minutes than most of its genre do in over 100. A sure fire hit for horror movie gatherings with friends.

An imaginary friend is more than meets the eye in this clever horror movie about a family plagued by a disgruntled specter. Genuine thrills and chills from a tight script make this worth a look.

Simple, not overly complicated and just short enough to get to the point. If looking for a thriller to pass the time, one can do far worse. Shot well and Teresa Palmer is always nice eye candy.

I heard nothing of this movie before my purchase and I'm surprised to say that is so. If you are a fan of good horror movies that don't rely on infinite expense with no pay off, then this is the movie for you. Jump scares and all, a horror movie fan classic of recent years.

This is an awesome movie and it's extremely scary. The movie itself is 5 stars but the blu ray is very lackluster with no special features. Save yourself a few bucks and get it digitally.
