A short subject that should have stayed short
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This film really should have stayed a short since the central conceit doesn't really stretch to full length feature. Many of the set pieces are well designed and executed but the plot seriously looses all semblance of originality and pacing in the final act. What started as an evocative exercise in restraint ends with typical Hollywood horror movie cliches. This is very similar to Mama in that neither director seemed to know how to make their short subject into an actual story.
