My wireless signal in that area was poor due to the position of the iron I-beam that supports the joists of my first floor. I positioned this extender in the basement, almost directly below my Linsys WRT1900AC router in my first floor den above. It picks up the signal without any problem and gives me strong, reliable 2.4gHz and 5gHz signals throughout my 1200 sq.ft. basement. I've been using it for approximately a month with no issues.

Seems to be working good after having it connected for a few months. Netflix streaming is better, little buffering. It gives me added wifi to connect to if one is weak on my network.

The only issue i have with it is i have to unplug and replug it back in about once a week. The things connected to it seems to lose connection about once a week. Other than that it's good.

Rebooting the range extender doesn't have to be done once a week. If this challenge continues, we recommend checking if the device has an updated firmware. You can also try moving it closer to the router and observe if the same thing happens. Best product to use to boost your Wifi

It works without much latency, and network is available 99% of the time. Like most WiFi devices you do have to perform a hard reset occasionally.

Not sure if it's that much better, but I don't think it can hurt, as we are in an area that doesn't get the best tower reception. I always buy Linksys. Easy to install.
