It was a little harder to find just the right spot for the extender but once found after about 25 min. of searching I just plugged it in and I can forget about it. I no longer have a dead spot .

For a stable and excellent performance of your wireless extender, we recommend placing it midway between your router and the area without Wi-Fi. You may reset the device and take advantage of the Spot Finder Feature to help you find the best location for an optimal range.

Perfect solution for extending network downstairs

Setup was straightforward and the dead spots are gone. The 5GHz channel bandwidth is limited by the 2.4GHz back haul used to extend the network.
