I'm giving this product a 4 star because I have used and worked with Linksys products before. But unfortunately, I'm finding that when working with WiFi products, you will find that this is a proprietary product. If you have a LINKsys router, it is best to streamline all peripherals alike. Cross linking with other brands, even though the box says it will integrate with other brands, I have found, didn't work for me. IN the configuration and set up process.

This seems like an OK unit. I bought this with the thought of temporarily putting it in the window of my shop to pick up WiFi from my house that is about 75 feet away. It will occasionally connect to the house WiFi but tends to drop the connection due to the distance. When I set it up in the house where I had a strong signal it worked well.

This product was super easy to setup and fixed my connection issues with my Xbox.

The unit was fairly priced and serves its purpose. Was easy to set up and has been working fine since.

I had added an outside camera for security and this unit gave me the additional range I needed

Tried another brand/solution and ended up returning it for this one. Easy set up, in business quickly!

Range extender works pretty good but honestly not getting the range I thought I would. Maybe I was unrealistic, but I was expecting another 40-50 feet. The problem lies in how far from your router you can place the extender. I realize walls, etc. affect the range, but in this case there was only one wall to go through. That being said, the 30-ish feet that it does extend the range out to is much appreciated.

This item works incredibly and is very easy to setup better than expected. Coverage exceeds expectations. I am about 250 feet away from source and I can watch streaming with no lag. Suggest to anyone don't waste you time on anything else! INCREDIBLEFROG !!!

I've had the device for about a month now and I have no complaints. I have a dual band router and the wifi extender does a great job of extending both without any issues. I also like that it's a very discrete device and it was easy to keep out of sight, behind a couch.

it does boost my internet signal from the dead areas in my home

I was looking for something to extend my wireless to my upper level and this product worked well.

I bought this Linksys AC1200 to replace my Comcast Belkin Wi-Fi Extender and I'm very happy with my decision. Now I have Wi-Fi coverage in my driveway and RV over fifty feet away. I also like the fact that I can check the signal strength on my Android cell phone.

Works well given the application. Was able to use the Linksys website to configure the unit as the instructions included were not that clear.

This works fine...bought to help boost the router, from the rear of our house to the front area.

Extender has good range and spot finder helps you find good location for best range.

Users report fluctuations in the signal but overall has been reliable and set up was pretty easy.

I purchased the linksys extender and spent a week frustrated before Linksys determined it was faulty. After exchanging it and activating the new one, I got better reception from my router than I did the extender. I finally returned it and got my money back. I've always heard good things about linksys, so this may be an isolated experience.

Used it for wifi out in my garage which is detached from the house and it does a good job.

Bottom line - it does the job. I was hoping for an even stronger signal strength, but it picks up the signal from two floors down and rebroadcasts it adequately on the 3rd floor of our home. I was surprised that the signal strength of the C1200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Range Extender is not much more than the signal strength of the Wi-fi coming up from two floors lower in the first place. Beyond that, it works as advertised.

This product does exactly what I needed it for. Definitely would recommend
