Was having difficulty occasionally with wireless signal reaching from upstairs bedroom (where the wireless router is) to downstairs kitchen area. The AC1200 was easy to install and I now get a stronger and more consistent signal to the kitchen area.

Really easy to set up. Great coverage with no loss of speed that I could detect.

I got this to help coverage in my shop at home. We've got a really nice Linksys home router already but do get a lot of interference out by the road/where the garage is. This ended up being perfect for my needs. Actually extends coverage to almost 3/4 of the way down to the gas station at the end of the street. Easily full coverage out to the garage and clear out into the fields beyond. I was pretty surprised it reached that far. I rated this 5 stars based on the value for the money. Its just the right amount of coverage without breaking the bank. However, if you really want some impressive extended coverage for only $50 more check out the RE7000 extender. It really blew my mind. I received a free sample from Linksys in exchange for my honest feedback.

Had some friends who live out in the country and needed to get wireless signal from house to a metal outbuilding 300+ feet away. The primary router in the house with a couple of rooms and a garage, plus numerous trees between it and the outbuilding. We put another router in the outbuilding with an external antenna outside of the building (the building is basically a giant faraday cage). The signal quality was very poor at the external antenna. I decided to pick up this repeater and placed it in the garage at the house end of the path, to pick up and repeat the signal from the primary router. Absolutely worked great. Went from at MOST 2 bars of signal at the outbuildling (usually 1) to 4. It was super easy to setup. Would highly recommend.

It definitely extended my network to the upstairs and opposite end of the house where wireless was erratic. It was easy to install. The software which was included really did show the best area to locate it.

This is so easy to set up to expand or get around a dead spot in your wifi signal. Just went from room to room until the indicator said it was a good spot and plugged it in. Simple setup and signal is great

This range extender is doing a great job so far. With my previous range extender I would experience frequent buffering which was real annoying, So far this range extender has worked to perfection and it is located in the same place as the old one it replaced. The nice thing about this one is you don't lose an electrical outlet plug, as this one has one on the face of the unit. I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but this range extender is the same brand as my router. As I said in the beginning I am very pleased with the operation of this unit, plus it was a snap to set up, just follow the easy instructions.

We had issues getting our game systems to connect to internet because of the thick walls in the house until we purchased this range extender. It works great. We can connect now to play games or watch movies. I would highly recommend this for anyone having issues connecting to their internet throughout their house as we did.

After reading many reviews about the product I decided to buy one so we have no gaps in wifi coverage in our home. It was very easy to set up with my existing Lynksys WiFi router. After about 5 minutes I was up and running and could see that my coverage was extended and had no problem with connecting to it. We have 1.25 acre property and I have noticed that I can keep my phone connected via WiFi while mowing the lawn. I never expected that it would cover that much square footage. Very pleased and would definitely recommend this to someone who needs to extend their WiFi coverage in their home, apartment or business.

i bought this unit to extend my wifi into a back room that got spotty coverage, it works wonderfully, i have to say setup was a little iffy, as i had to redo it a couple of times, but once it was set it has worked flawlessly for about 5 months now, really does the job

Looking to get good reception in some parts of house and back patio. this did the trick, went from no reception to streaming video on back patio. Very simple set up

Needed a range extender for some Apple devices that kept either disconnecting or would not connect to the home network (Android phone had no issue connecting or staying connected). Installed the router per directions, it was simple, and all the Apple devices now are happily connected.

Seriously expanded the range of my WiFi. Saved us money because one of my kids who lived on the opposite side of the house from the router was using a lot of phone data and isn't now. Unable to get the 5Ghz to work or I'd give it a 5 star, but relatively few devices use it anyway.

Its a very good printer comes out nice and clear even print, it is not slow printer it print out faster then any other I have before. it was easy to set up and easy to print and adjust to the write size I would recomed this printer that need a new one.

Really easy to setup. Comes from a reputable long standing industry standard company. Had it up and running in 3 min. Range is really good.

No more dead spots in my 1st floor or 2nd floor. Now i can steam music to the garage while working and not use my data plan. Con: 1 - Accessing the setup menu thru a Mac. Thru a PC easy, but never made it with a Mac. 2 - Spot finder technology? Needs a better way to access it. Once you set the extender up with a desktop there is no way to use it with a portable device. I ended up moving it around until I found a spot that gave me the best coverage, but each time had to wait for the extender to reconnect.

Our router is battling solid concrete walls to snake it's way through the house. This extender worked great and was very easy to setup as long as your router has a WPS button. The trick is finding the perfect middle ground outlet to plug it into so it receives a strong signal to repeat. The bedrooms were pulling 1-2 bars of service originally and now they pull 3-4, even with multiple devices connected.

We had wired connections with cable from our modem to our TiVo in the living room. The cord was along the baseboards and was OK although not ideal. Then we decided to get new floors and the cables were in the way of the installers. I started looking around for alternatives and found this gizmo. It was so easy and such an elegant solution! I followed the simple instructions and ended with it plugged into the wall near the TV in the middle of the house. Presto! We still use the ether connection for the TiVo (using the plug on the extender) but we don't have the cable along the baseboards anymore. Added bonus, the wireless at the other end of the house is now as strong as the modem side, thanks to the wifi extension, both regular and 5G networks. Could not be happier with this thing. They even thought to add a plug so we don't lose one by plugging it in. Even after unplugging it a couple of times to move things around, the connection has always easily come back without having to start over.
