Have an unusual stone house and it was impossible to receive WiFi in all rooms. This extender has now made it possible for me to use IPad in various rooms. It was also easy to place in the best position.

good coverage but could be better - loses signal once outside on patio

It works very well and solves our problem with the wireless range in the basement. It was easy to setup. It seems to do what it claims! And doesn't matter what brand router you have. Of course I guess it works better with the latest versions of routers.

This device eliminated our buffering issues. We are now streaming without problems.

After setup it's works great easy access to the password and the connection is great

This range extender paired with my AC1200 router perfectly. It was a super easy, if not automatic, sync and the extended range fits my needs perfectly. I've had it up & running for about 2 months and not a single glitch! Very happy with it.

Easy to set up and effective in single family home providing service throughout house

Would have given this extender five stars if the setup was easier. The automatic setup did not work as advertised. After several attempts to place the extender at a midpoint between the router and edge of my house, I had to place the extender within 10 feet of the router and manually configure it with a browser. Once set up, it extends wifi throughout the house without any loss of speed.

I was able to set up this device easily. It is working without any problem.

This was highly recommended by the Best Buy sales associate. This was quick and easy install. The connection on tablets, laptop, phones, gaming system is very reliable. I am using it to extend the wifi signal from my home to detached garage.

Product works very well in a 2 Story large home. Very satisfied

I needed an extender to provide coverage throughout a 2BR apartment. My D-Link router had to be at one end, and the signal would only carry about 1/2 through the apartment. The total distance isn't all that far -- maybe 60-70 feet. I am pretty sure the issue is network interference (there are at least 60 networks that my WiFi scanner picks up, at least 4-5 with strong signals inside the apartment. The Linksys extender seemed like a good option. However, it proved very difficult to get the router and extender to hook up. The WPS option seemed to work, but didn't stick. After several calls to customer service, I was finally able to make the link, but it wouldn't last for more than a few hours. To relink, I had to unplug the extender and replug it in. And then, even when the extender was linked with the router, several of my devices (like an iPad) wouldn't connect with the extender's signal. I have no reason to believe the extender wasn't working correctly -- it's just that it's not a very good solution when facing of a lot of network interference. So I returned the extender, and went for a different solution.
