Very rarely loss of connection depending on how far extender is from device. Had to connect via laptop as manual wifi first time connection was not successful. Once connected works well.

This extender was very easy to install. Took only 10 minutes at the most. Once connected it has worked flawlessly and has met my needs.

Disappointed in product won't waste time on another

I am very impressed with this extender. My wireless signal has boost up and now I can enjoy it around the house.

I got this for the usual reason -- to try to fill a coverage gap for my wifi in my apartment. The extender was not easy to set up, and once set up, it constantly dropped the connection to the router. The technical support desk wasn't all that helpful. The unit needed to be "rebooted" to make the connection anew. And even when it was working, the increase in speeds that I recorded were pretty marginal. I wound up returning it in frustration. I doubt there was anything intrinsically wrong with the product, but the solution itself (any extender) doesn't work very well.

This range extender does a good job boosting my wireless signal even in a home with a very week signal coming in from outside.

We bought a new extender because our old one no longer worked. This one has been working great!

Works great to increase wi fi range when we are outside in the backyard. Helps use less data!

Easy setup. The range is a bit limited however my rating may also be affected by the occasional metal stud in our 5K square foot home. I would just opt for an additional router next time.

I purchased this model with employee recommendation. It works ok, but not any better than one I had purchased for half the price before. I would not purchase again and almost returned it.

this was an easy set up - and has been working great - Note - if a power failure occurs you may need to reset.

I did read the reviews that said this is a decent extender for the right circumstances.It just was not able to work in my application as the distance was just too great for it to be effective. I returned it and was pleased with the customer service at Best Buy. My overall impression is that most of these extenders are OK for smaller work loads. If you need more ooomph to make your WiFi really hum, you need to spend the big bucks to get a more powerful router with whatever extra satellites you will need. And, as more and more applications around the house become WiFi, you will need increasingly stronger routers.

I live in an apartment with metal doors ans this works surprisingly well to extend the range into these rooms

Was unsure about this product and initially hesitant, but it was easy to use and solved a dead spot problem in my home.
