If the settings of your RE6700 Extender were already saved on your wireless devices, then they will automatically connect to its SSID without any issues as long as they are located within its Wi-Fi range. Truth is that it is very tedious to get Synced with your Router. The Range is terrible, practically useless. I was better off without this Extender because even with it connected to my Router this Extenders Range and Signal Strength is somehow less than my Router, even after trying many different Antenna configurations and with it being in direct line of sight with the Router and still weaker signal. NO, I do NOT recommend this product.
