This extender was easy to setup and very sleek on the wall. I did extend the range of my wi-fi but I lost some significant speed. If you don't have super high download speeds this may not be an issue.

With the WPS button it makes the set-up really easy and does as advertised. also setting up 5GHz was a bit tricky but you just need to connect directly to the device and rename it to something like "blahblah-5" and your 2.4ghz network as "blahblah-2.4"

This did increase the range of my wifi signal from the basement to the mainfloor

it works great - but occasionally my wifi router goes out and only once in the last 3 months of having this have I had to reset it completely, but I do recommend it, it helps with streaming twitch and simple games on ipad.

The linkys 1200 Ac extender was easy to install, produced close to the same speeds as other areas of the property. No maintenance needed once set up and has not disconnected like others have in past!

I had 2 wireless routers set up to reach both ends of my house and I had a wireless printer and a WD MyCloud server connected to secondary router. I had sooo many issues with connectivity and only being able to access the MyCloud and printer only being on the secondary router. I finally broke down and bought this range extender and ditched the 2nd router. What a difference... it was easy to set up, had to adjust it some to find just the right spot to put it that had an outlet and I disconnected the 2nd router, using this in its place. I never have an issue with connectivity anymore and i can be on either the main router or this one and I can access everything i need to on either one. Definitely recommend this over a 2nd wireless router.

I received a free sample from Linksys. This product has great features and is very simple to set up. Took only 15 minutes and I was up an running. The gigabit port is a very nice addition. Great range extension.

I purchased this unit to replace a year-old Netgear extender than developed feedback into the network it was extending. It used a separate transformer and was mounted on a shelf 8 feet above ground. It gave decent network extension, but weaker than this simpler unit that plugs into a wall plug. I was concerned that being so close to the floor, the signal would not reach upstairs or into adjoining rooms. It was easy and quick to set up with the Spotfinder phone app.

I have a Linksys wireless router but I had dead spots in my home due to the overall space I needed covered. This extender did the trick. Now I have perfect high speed coverage all over my home and outside too.

The set up for this device couldn't be simpler! By extending the range of my wifi access point, I'm now able to enjoy a strong signal everywhere in my two story house... and my access point is in the basement!!
