Initial setup was hit-n-miss. But works perfect now

Got it free from Linksys but had purchased one for my dad last year. Easy and quick to set up. Had it hooked up and using it in 15 minutes after following the directions which I normally don't do.

I received a free sample from Linksys in exchange for my honest feedback. I rated it excellent, the setup was very quick and easy. I have a Netgear router at home and with this being a Linksys I thought there might be an issue with the setup but was able to get it setup and find the right location all within 5 minutes or less. Mainly was interested in the extender due to my router being on one side of the house but bedrooms are on the other, so when trying to stream movies or games it always buffers or has slow speeds. Since installing the Linksys extender, there have been no issues. I get full internet speeds with no lag in gaming or streaming anywhere in the home.

I received this unit from Linksys for free in exchange for providing an honest review. It was pretty easy to setup and is easy to use. It appears to operate as intended: extending the range of my wifi to the furthest room in my house. I have not noticed any negative effects on network speed from using this unit.

Like others, I bought this wifi extender to improve the signal throughout my house. I had a similar experience to others who tried the WPS approach but then had to use the web-based tool. I agree that it was easy to use, and I was connected and ready in a few minutes. Unfortunately, that was the best part. Even though it said it was connected, it didn't have an internet connection. Restarting it sometimes worked, but it didn't stay connected. I'm just not willing to restart the router every time this happens. I have a Linksys router, so I hoped this would work well with it, but that does not appear to be the case. Unfortunately, I bought this on clearance, so I can't return it. I'm out the money and still need another solution.

This Extender was easy to setup and it gives my upstairs area great connection full bars. 2.4 and 5 ghz works great for me. No complaints so far!!!!!

I didn't setup after open a box But with the first cal to Linksys and in less tham 10 minutes start working I'm very satisfy with the extender

The extender works, but I was unable to access the settings for the extender. I called Linksys support and the rep I spoke with was not helpful or very knowledgeable about IP addresses and was not able to tell me how to get to the security settings for the extender. He also kept interrupting me while I asked questions. I was never able to get to the settings and, there fore, unable to set security. My tablet showed the connection was unsecure and at one point the tech rep told me it didn't matter. The tech also did not understand the difference between DHCP and fixed IPs.

I received it free from Linksys. Very easy to set-up. It greatly improved my reception by adding two bars strength while on the patio.

Doesn't work. Followed all the steps, says it has good connection to the router but just keeps dropping connection over and over. Returning to the store. Absolutely worthless.

This was such an easy product to set up. Plugged it in, opened up the browser, set the password and done.

First thing first, setup. Setting up this device was as easy as pressing 2 buttons. Took me no more than a few minutes to connect both my 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. Second, connectivity and speed. I get a great connection and my speed was not sacrificed. It has been about two weeks since I have received the AC1200 wifi range extender and it has been reliable. FAST/SAMPLE/DUAL/DONE When i received the Linksys - Ac1200 Dual-band opened it up and no cd's or wires just a unit and the user booklets. Plugged in the Range Extender and next step were so simple and i even linked up to my apt. office 1 buildings downstairs and a walk way to the living room and to the back room i like it Overall Rating Five Stars.

Works perfectly, wished my phone would auto connect when im out of range on my original wifi but that's probably a phone issue.

I received this item few weeks ago and plugged in and connected the range extender near hallway for upstairs. My daughter says doing homework upstairs is better as internet on her computer works so much better and faster. This is what we hoped for to get a better signal on the floor above the router.

Setup was tougher than expected because I did not have a Linksys router however great technical support got me up and running. It is working great. Because I had a Comcast non Linksys router, the extender does not show up as a " Connected Device " even though it is actually connected to the network.
